(Some people seem to try to skirt around this part of my sticky post, by using seemingly indirect yet polite questions like "would it be/is it possible for this/that?" Anything is possible if you want it badly enough, but the thing is, I don't want it badly enough to make the changes. If you do, then do what I did when I badly wanted a personalized armor. I learned to do stuff. I can't cater to everyone's taste, but I can cater to my own and share it with you.)

Hi guys, I’ll try to be straight to the point. My laptop of almost 5 yrs, where I did all my illustration/art design, my gaming and very occasional modding, died on me back in March. Instead of buying a replacement laptop, I opted for an ipad pro+pencil for it’s convenience and mobility (compared to my bulky laptop), and to be able to get back to work faster.

I’m still paying for it, but I’m also trying to save up to build myself a decent desktop rig. So I’m here hoping to tap into this community, looking for possible customers/clients that might be looking to have some art commissioned. Although I currently have regular work, I’m looking to squeeze in small jobs for extra income.

You may follow and support me on either one of the socials below:
    DeviantArt
    Instagram
    Patreon

    Thanks!

P.S. This obviously means I’m incapable of addressing any major issues that may have come to light in the past couple years (which I don’t believe any have).

Hey, Im assuming your still not back to putting much time in modding so Ill try and be brief. Do you know much about working with zaps? And if so could you get me pointed in the right direction? What I have been able to find to this point has been a bit confusing. Either way, thanks for your time!

The Duskward armor's unique spectacled chainmail helmet seems to be replaced with a recolored version of the blooded armor's headpiece when equipped on the beast races (Argonian and Khajiit). Will this be addressed in the future?

Hey, sorry for the very late reply, I haven’t been active for years now, and for the reason I mentioned in my latest sticky, I won’t be able to address this.

But as I recall only the Argonian Duskward helm had no chainmail https://sta.sh/0jgr8740a4f

It’s not a reskin/retexture of the blooded helmet, it’s a different model entirely. I chose to remove the chainmail for the argonian due to their unique head model shape compared to all the other races, with their spikes clipping through the mail, and depending on the slider for their snouts, it’s hard to implement the eye cover design. Sorry if this disappoints you, I wasn’t very considerate of the argonian head model when I designed the helm.

I sorta wish you'd stuck with the design for the old Blooded Mace. It was pretty bad@ss, if I'm being honest.

    Hi Guys,

Just giving an update to anyone who might come by here. I'm currently unable to manage/tweak this mod indefinitely, as I'm busy with a lot on my plate both personal and career-wise.

There are no major problems that I'm aware of, and I hope none ever come up.

Thank you all for your appreciation.

Been meaning to ask: which mod do you use to show multiple weapons on your character?

I've used several over the years, all with their own pros & cons. "Visible Favorited Gear" seems to be the most current, consistent and stable that's compatible with DSR (at least on SSE when I used it, not sure about the LE port). But out of personal preference I had to choose "All Geared Up", because I liked seeing my favorited shield on my back even when unequipped. I just have to toggle DSR's back shield off in the MCM for the player only. Additional problems with AGU are 1.) weapons disappearing in hand after opening your inventory or containers, when you toggle equip weapons via Hotkeys (at least in my ported version for SSE) which I fix by only equipping weapons either via inventory menu or favorites menu, and 2.) on initial loading of the game, the favorited shield appears on both the left hand and on the back which is easily fixed by un-equipping and re-equipping it.

Edit: wish I had the time to learn scripting and stuff to try and combine the best features from different mods.

So I was using your dsr patch and none of the shields would go on my characters back when using a cloak. Then I found that the patch is missing a file for shield on back with cloaks. You might want to make that. All you have to do is go back in nifscope, open up the shield on back mesh file, and then save as the same name, but with "clk" at the end this time. You also might want to move it back on the z axis by some negative number under nitrishape translation so as to avoid clipping, when I created this file I just used -4.5.

Hey, thanks for this. I haven't been using cloak mods so I never encountered this. I'll upload a fix soon.

      EDIT: Done, followed your instructions.

Hi! Thanks for the hard work and for the whole package! But since the Apotheus Light Armor and the Blooded Heavy Armor are already standalone(s) could we hope for the Duskward Armor to have a standalone version too, please? Or maybe can we have a permission to do so, please?

I wonder if you could make Duskward armor into a replacer of one of the vanilla studded armors. I really like the model, but having these as standalones is not something I want (and also, I could see the model more often, which is nice). I downloaded the loose files version and tried to figure out what to rename to what, but I didn't manage to find all the corresponding things, and it may even need some adjustments (since there are apparently more meshes in your meshes folder than in the vanilla studded armor folder).

      I love stand alone armour's!
specially if they're unique looking like this replaces to me takes away their uniqueness, being that they replace an armor already game, and I think the mod wanted to have people have a little more fun with mod by having to look for the books ..

We don't share the same opinions, and having a replacer as well as the standalone file is possible and can peacefully co-exist. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one to download it either.

@ Southwarth: I'm unable to do any tinkering at the moment. But if you have a bit of knowledge in the Creation Kit, you can check the studded armor addons to see which corresponding nif files you need to replace. Sometimes you might have to duplicate the files the gloves, as bethesda seem to use different meshes for the 1st person versions of their gloves. For duskward I just used the same ones for both 1st person & 3rd person, as I don't really see any reason to add more files for the same effect. But if you say mine has more nif files, my guess would be because my helmets have twice the models for the weight slide due to the chainmail coif that adjusts around the neck, while the studded armor probably has a one size fits all mesh. You'd have to find a base armor in game that has weight slides for the helm as well, otherwise a replacer with the duskward set will require an esp.
