Hi I put a file in the Data folder and nothing happens. There is this mod in the download, but the restrictions have not been removed in the game. What is the reason?
Description is a bit vague. So I have some questions.
1) Is there a cap on how many enchantments per item? 2) Can you remove enchantments from any item you find, even artifact ones? 3) How exactly is this better then the older mod? Answers in the replies are vague, and makes me wonder what the crashing issue is.
I am asking these questions as they might help answer questions for folks that might like to give the mod a try, like myself.
Doesn't let you strip any enchantment? If you know of another mod for that, that would be amazing, or if you could update it so that you could both take any enchantment, and also apply that enchantment to anything? An example is that I can't take the effects of the amulet of talos and apply it to, say, a ring. Or take the enchantments off of the dragon cult masks, and put them on a helmet.
It's not cheating if the same things can be found across skyrim(such as ancient nord helm of the unburned , yongol's helm , saivors hide etc.) and was a thing in oblivion.
The Summermyst patch has a wrong master file. It is showing Summermyst.esp as a master when the plugin name for Summermyst is Summermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim.esp
I tried loading it in in TES5Edit to correct it and it won't load an esp with a missing master.
Any reason why this wouldn't work? For some reasons when I install this or the other mod it doesn't limit the restrictions. I recently just reinstalled the game and the latest SKSE.
I'm installing mid game, I've moved the mod up and down my load order. When I go to the enchantment table restrictions are still there on vanilla and modded enchantments.I am using Wintermyst, maybe there's a conflict there? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58635/

I am using all vanilla enchants yet I am having the same issue. No matter where I put the mod in my load order it doesn't work and the restrictions are still there. :/
1. Download TES5Edit 2. Open it, mark all the mods you have 3. Expand my mod a look for conflicts (red strings) You will see what mod is conflicting with mine, it's easy

Just as a heads up, Summermyst also uses a new set of restriction lists. And a different set at that.
