I have actually ported the Morrowind models myself in the end. I used the chestplate from your mod as base. The rest are just direct ports, so won't be allowed to publish it l. See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Morrowind/s/yoKzFuSNiF
This mod looks awesome! I love the morrowind style of the legion, is there any chance that you bring this to the special edition at some point in the future?
I love this mod. I had been searching for something like this for ages! Even then, General Tullius' armour seems a bit too golden, I'd keep the sleeves, but return the cuirass to what it was. Thanks, anyway!
Have you thought about doing other mash ups with the models from "historical rival"? I always thought the parthian scales always looked particularly good
Yes I've even thought of doing a "sequel" to their mod set in the late Roman era, Total War Attila armors are amazing haha, but for TES lore friendly stuff also yes. I'm planning on more of these smaller spin-offs of my main mod.
Thank you! I like all of the armors, but do feel too many people emphasize the Roman influence. But I've been getting feed back that the mod isn't working for everyone. I'm trying to figure out why. So have you tried this mod out? And does it work?
Sorry for the late reply, yes, it works perfectly for me :) Wish I'd had it for my last playthrough as an Imperial, ironically I'm a Stormcloak at the moment.
If this mod has good support for female characters I would probably prefer it over PL. Could you please post screenshots of each armor on a female character so we can see how it looks?
This seems to have more variety and not rely overly on the mesh of the Penitus Oculatus armor. It's also just a bigger change from the vanilla sets, while PL leaves some of the sets mostly the same barring darker textures.
I really like the studded leather armor in your screenshots- it's distinctive and detailed, and looks like a great Skyrim adaptation of the Morrowind original. Maybe add the Duke's Guard armor later? Silver and purple set, looked great on the elite Legionnaires.
(Good support in my book means the armor isn't identical to the male but still looks like it's the same set (doesn't revert to the same mesh for all the female armors when the male ones are varied). So has a smaller waist and shoulders and also doesn't have the dreaded cone-plate look. See the CNHF armors for some great meshes like that- especially the steel and orc armors look great. I'm aware that's just my taste, but making the female versions just as cool as the male ones is something I personally think makes an armor mod stand out.)
I will be releasing an update tomorrow and will get more screenshots! The Duke''s Guard armor is used by the Penitus Oculatus, a bit of a lore stretch, but was the best place to fit the armor in.
Glad to hear you like the mod! Currently not exactly; they can be found standalone here in my much larger mod with the "BE" .esp version. This mod is ultimately the first "spinoff" of my larger mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/88654?tab=description&BH=6

Seeing a full rendition of the imperial steel armour from Morrowind in Skyrim is something I would pay actual money for...
anyway, my kudos for this great job you did here.
Thanks, anyway!
