IMO this is the perfect balance of making the place more interesting and being performance friendly. Great job!

I love this mod, better than JK, especially on performance. My only wish is that it worked with ETAC better. I found tons of overlap that would be easy to fix.

genius one! and IMO your best one till now! looking forward to riften, whiterun and riverwood. if they look dope as this one and keep a balance between exciting new, better and not too much of clutter and trees, then i consider to download your mod for my next playthrough!

keep up the good work, sir!

Just replaced my JK Rorikstead with this mod and love it. Endorsed.

I ran around with my follower quite extensively and thought I'd pass on what I think are some rather minor navmeshing nits, as she got stuck in place in these spots. I took screenshots of each spot where she got stuck:

    1. just outside the stone fence on the Solitude end of the town:
    Spoiler:
    Show

    2. I think this was in the area somewhere behind the Inn (?)
    Spoiler:
    Show

    3. I think this was by the farm across the road from the Inn at the Whiterun end of town
    Spoiler:
    Show

I don't think these are a big deal, or would have any impact on the Rorikstead quest(s), but thought I'd mention them.

Made a similar post for your Morthal mod.

The base stone for greathall tower still not loaded if you walk to rorikstead in updated version. well it seem 02000d73 still mark IsFullLod cause the issue.

I actually haven't run the mod yet, as I'm just scoping out replacements for JK's Rorikstead for my next game and this mod totally caught my eye (small footprint: check; cool-looking: check; fits nicely into the surroundings: check). Anyways, I saw this comment so I thought I'd load the esp in xEdit to see what I could see and just thought I'd mention that 02000d75 also has the FullLod. Not sure how relevant that is since, like I said, I haven't actually run the mod yet. Just an FYI. Cheers.

Hello soldierofwar thank you so much for create this amazing overhauls in the tiny towns and even cities. Is very stunning, lore friendly and the size of the mod is incredible tiny. Your first version of Rorikstead works very good and even i don't have that "invisible objects or missing textures of the mill". Thanks for create this with so much love and make Skyrim more enjoyable and beautiful for those users (like me) they don't know anything of Creation Kit or TES5 Edit.

But thats not a city though.. :/ A village of 10 people isn't a city its just barely a hamlet, hell Whiterun isn't even a city, the only place in Skyrim that can even come close to being called a city is Solitude. the rest are small towns at most, and i even think thats pushing it.

Pft no, but theres the guy running the inn (1) his son (2) the bard (3) that jackass with the two girls (4 5 6) that other guy with the High elf wife (7 8) the old dude tutoring one of the girls in magic (9) .....erm, i think he has a wife?? (10*) hm, idk 10 or 11 people live in Rorikstead that i know of yeah i could be off by one or two but that changes nothing the population of Rorikstead barely passes it into Hamlet status nowhere near a small town let alone a city, is me point.

Edit: actually after looking it up, Rorikstead would be considered an isolated dwelling while a hamlet would have a meager population of 100 people or less. so its not even a hamlet.

In fact none of the so called "Cities" in the game are nowhere near hamlet level either for that matter. :/ yeah i know NPC limits and the game engine and all that i get it, but still.

I know Rorikstead isn't city in the lore and especially not in the game haha. It's just that I started the great city of Winterhold 3 years ago as a isolated project and I just sticked with the name in my newer mods.

Ah, yeah..i did see a couple of his videos pertaining to Skyrims "City" designs, and that MAY have had a minor influence on my comment. :l But that was 95% my own thoughts on the subject.

      Edit, yeah okay 93% :/

@Swordsguy2010pft no, classic. sorry my man, while i think you might of went a little out there with your reply(hemlet's?) i do concur with you in regards to rorikstead not being a city. I did ablsoultly love your reply, mhmm. You did fail to mention Shoal farm folk, they come into town too. I use ETAC which adds some townies plus a variety of mods that at least fills the Inn up.

One of the things i love about the mod "Rorikstead Walled and Expanded" is it adds a blacksmith and general store. It also adds walls and defences which while not absolutely necessary do create ambience.

If you could add a blacksmith and general store (maybe even copy from the above mod with authors permission?) that would be good. I really like the work you have done with your other mods and Rorikstead really does need a major upgrade of its facilities. Please consider adding some more defences and maybe a couple more guards to patrol the town and protect it.

While i am making comments could you please go into your morthal and winterhold mods and fix up the errors in them that show up in tes5edit(1 error in morthal and 2 errors in winterhold), thank you.

the bug appears just loading Skyrim.esm, update.esm and "The Great City of Morthal.esp". its the same bug if i load TES5EDIT with 240 mods. so its definitely just that mod.

      [00:02] Background Loader: <Warning: Unused data in: \ [02] The Great City of Morthal.esp \ [3] GRUP Top "STAT" \ [0] MorthalWallWaterGrate [STAT:020015DB] \ [4] DNAM - Direction Material>

The winterhold mod has two bugs that appear
      [00:02] Background Loader: <Warning: Unused data in: \ [02] The Great City of Winterhold.esp \ [3] GRUP Top "STAT" \ [0] RTMarketStallSnowGreatCityMod [STAT:02007A19] \ [4] DNAM - Direction Material>
      [00:02] Background Loader: <Warning: Unused data in: \ [02] The Great City of Winterhold.esp \ [3] GRUP Top "STAT" \ [1] NobleBench01STATICsnowGreatCityMod [STAT:02007A14] \ [4] DNAM - Direction Material

These are the only two mods that load with these bugs. dawnstar and falkreath mods are fine.

Are you using the latest version of SSEEdit and the mods? I had the Morthal error and thought I had taken care of it. I don't have the Winterhold errors. They seem harmless errors as far as I can tell

I wanna ask once you're done with all the major cities, towns, etc... if you plan on making a file that has everything packed into one?
