Tragically, the short (10 second or so) clips of Drums of Panic, Flute of Harmony and Lute of Frenzy I made as custom songs played with the Enigmatic Songbooks buff my Speech skill, but do not have the Bardsong effects to buff Followers and debuff enemies. They just do not work.
What a shame. The ReadMe even says it's best to use short clips to activate the effects in Sneak Mode! Now, I just play vanilla music, which can be quite lengthy. This is not a good idea in a dungeon.
I'll have to go back to replacing the Vanilla Bard music, which means all the Bards of Skyrim will play them as well. This is not really what I wanted and I don't think it's what the author intended..
Can I upload a SSE version of this? I looked up the permission section and saw that conversion and upload permissions are not allowed. I have asked wgstein himself but he has not been online since 2021.
I've been using this mod for a few weeks now and only just started having an issue where when i start playing it no long cancels out the game music, but instead plays the instrument music over the game music... any idea why, and how to fix??? also will this mod and the other playable instruments mod work together? the one that actually play notes
I'm having duplicate item in "Forge", for example, Battle Flute with same ingredients appears twice, which make the forge list kinda long and seems not neat at all. Anything else works just fine. Any idea to fix this?
I checked it and it turned out that the materials have the same name but different ID, for example, Embalming Tools but with different IDs such as 00000001 and 00000002 symbolically. Guess that I will have to go with the second solution. Thank you for your reply.

can you make a version without the enchantments, and the instruments do proper damage. I'm not asking for daedric damage, maybe steel. It's just annoying trying to only rely on the lute and deal 3 damage. Also I can confirm it works on sse.

Make sure you use the CK fixes mod too.
