I took a -long- break from Skyrim and Skyrim modding, but I've recently returned and I thought I'd check up on this little mod I made over a year ago. I am surprised and honored to see so much activity and love for this mod! I made it originally for myself and only posted it on a whim. As such, I know that there are many parts of the mod that could still use some polishing and there is definitely more work that can be done. I didn't expect such a positive response!
Since I'm back, and since people seem to love this mod, I feel I owe it to you guys to continue my work on it. I would like to get it to the point where it is fully functional, with the correct stats, fits in perk trees, male/female support, and perhaps even improved textures everything else, as if it was an official release.
Some of you guys I know have already done your own little edits in my absense, which I think is great! As I begin working on another release, I would love for people to PM suggestions and ideas, as well as share what tweaks they may have done themselves.
I also would like to be up front with you guys by saying that I do not have a lot of time to devote to making this happen. It may be some time before all my goals have been completed, but slow progress is better than none, am I right?
Love the mod! Reminds me of Stormcloak Armor Variety, something that I think Bethesda should have already had, but we else can we do? I do have a recommendation for maybe an optional addon or patch to the mod where it adds pants to the two heavy variants of the armor. It just bothered me a little that the two light variants which are the scout/archer armors had pants, but the heavy ones had less protection. Just a small something to add to the immersion, like Sleeved Imperials or Sleeved Guards. I wouldn't want to wear that type of armor in the cold winters of Skyrim. You don't have to add sleeves if you still want to keep them more Roman inspired but I wouldn't complain either way. Again great job! I haven't found anyone else on the Nexus make something like this so keep up the hard work on your projects!
Love your mod and consider it a must have in my load order, but just wondering if you could do an update adding the already existing imperial mages to the leveled lists for the legion. The vanilla game ONLY has them in the intro mission at helgen.. which is lame especially cause I want Natterforms imperial mage armor to work (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35863/?) So if you could either add vanilla imperial mages to leveled lists so I could use his mod too. Thanks a bunch hopefully this comment reaches you
Version 1.2 is live! Numerous changes have been added which you can see in the description, including a new item, stat balances, bug fixes, and compatability changes!
Anything that retextures the Imperial Light Cuirass or the Imperial Studded Cuirass will generally not be compatible. Anything that retextures or modifies "Imperial Armor" (The Heavy Armor that Legates wear), the Tulius Armor, or the Penitus Oculatus armor will be compatible, as I do not touch those armors at all.

Nice mod, I really like the new armor. Is it possible for you to put pants and sleeves on these armor types? Otherwise, good work.
P.S. - When I downloaded the mod, I noticed that the Imperial light crested helmet wasn't in my game. Was there something I missed? I only got the Imperial crested helmet, the heavy armor version.

Tracking as to know when you will release an update, thanks !
Hint, hint, nudge, nudge.
Love the helmets. Any chance you will port this to Skyrim special edition, mate?
Again great mod.

It really breaks immersion when everyone is running around in t shirts in the arctic regions of Skyrim
Immersion breaking otherwise..

To be seen.
