why.. this is genius O.o why didn't people come up with that before? xD
wish i still played skyrim tho.. maybe some other time. .. or if you somehow get both this morph and smp-related hdt rigging/weightpaint with the tails o3o
oh and also.. this could be great for Khajiit tails as well :3
Anyone know how well this mod fares with AmA and Tail armors? AmA https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27676 Tail Armors https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11471
When you use tail armor mods with this one, the tail will only be affected by weight sliders when not wearing tail armor. A modified version of every tail armor mesh would have to be created to allow the tail armor to be affected by the weight slider.
Other than that, they do not cause any major conflicts, just a minor visual discrepancy.
I come to this mod again, because i really fancy it :3 wonder if there will be, or has been a khajiit version Oo everyone would probably like a thicker, and fluffier khajiit tail, and not just a cheetah one xD
Can you provide us with a patch for body substitutes like Unp? Maybe you can also fix the position of the syrup, because just like Vanilla it comes out from the middle of the butt.
I'm not really sure what would need to be changed when using other body replacers; I thought those didn't affect the tail meshes.
I suppose for the tail position I could make an alternate version that is higher up. I actually tried it out when making this but personally felt it looked off.
EDIT: I added two optional versions to raise the height of the tail, Tails Higher and Tails Slightly Higher. Screenshots show the changes to the position.
Moving it upwards towards where a tail would actually connect means it's sitting in the curve of the lower back, and reveals the base of it. The vanilla tail can have this problem as well which is why Bethesda has the it sticking out from between the buttcheeks. :P Way back in my early mesh-attempt days I modified the female tail for BAT in Nifskope so it would fit the CBBE/UNP body. I forget everything I did with it (we're talking 4 years ago), but I CAN see edited how the tail was shaped in order to effectively stick partway into the body, so different positions wouldn't cause it to pop out.

And thank you!

Edited Female Argonian Tail
Here's the mesh if you want to take a look at the shape.
EDIT: This mod now has optional meshes that move the tail higher, you can use those.
EDIT: The mod can be merged into a bashed patch using Wyre Bash. This is even better now.
