   Is it a new separate race? or is it just the ability to transform into either?  Does it have a human form or is it always in the shape of a beast form? 
   - If it does have a human form, what is it based on?

   This looks interesting can we expect to see the following in the future?:
   
   *Immortals(such as silas & the Immortal spell to become one
   *sirens
   *Cade & the feature to become something like him
   
   It be great if you manage to great a complete vampire diaries overhaul.
