Didn't really like the mod. One, the cave dungeon was super long and annoying, with enemies that could freeze you for like 20 seconds. Big fat nothing you can do about that.
Two, once you do get to the end, you get cursed for 5 min of no mag/stamina/50% slow movement for no reason.
Three, it kind of defeats the ease of teleport when you have to cast a spell (a longass animation) to get to a hub, then click on a menu with a bunch of choices, to then get somewhere.
well i've gotten a chance to test it out and everything and i've noticed a few things. not bugs but just somethings i've noticed remember these are my personal opinions. the biggie? the Teleportation Door feels... Empty. with the apocrypha look to it all the non-apocrypha sky is a bit weird. the first tier of treasure could simply be a home inside the transportation room normally blocked by a wall etc, (remove the wall once unlocked) this would make the main room feel less empty. Maybe just some more decoration in the main room as since the chalice has blood within it was obvious that it'd been utilized before. mayhaps give it that feel. Functionality speaking I have no problems with it at all. These are just my personal opinions but something to consider. Perhaps having a few pictures of the room itself in the mod page as well as the 1 1/2 player homes might help draw in some attention if it got some cosmetic love. Still loving the mod and thank you.
Your permissions section implies a yes, but I'd rather play it safe on this one. I'm making a VIS patch for the SSE version of this for personal use. May I upload it when it's finished?
my mods are always and will always be free to use/ edit in any way :), sorry for the late rep[ly, I lost acxcess to my nexusmods account and haven't been on in ages
After some thought, there is a mod I'd like to see. A basement. What I'm thinking of is a trapdoor one could drop (in your home, one would assume, but I guess it could be anywhere) that would lead to a simple room. Wood or stone, makes no difference. Maybe both? Good size, well lit. Perhaps it's a workshop, with vanilla crafting stations, or just a big empty room. Maybe a stack of chests to store mats and such. Perhaps just hearthfire-type workbench that let's you build your own furnishings/stations/ect.
There's been a couple mods that come close, but none have really got it right. Most of them put a basement lab/workshop/library/whatever into existing vanilla homes. Well, I don't use vanilla homes. So yeah.
There is one that lets you build little shacks wherever you like that came close, but the mod is big and buggy, and the room is a fraction of the size I'd like. No headroom at all, and just barely enough space to put a bed into. I have no doubt you could do a better job.
The Book Stacks in Legacy of the Dragonborn is on the right track, cept it's about half the floorspace I'd like, and it's fulla bookshelves.
sorry for the late reply gunrunner, i havent been able to access my account in a long while.... I'll see what i can do. Do you mean like a portable trapdoor that is customizable? I could do it and make it fairly extensive with customization options
So, via careful use of the console and Utopium's Positioner, I transformed the teleport room into a passable player home, complete with much crafting, permenant storage, and all the usual amenities. Afterwords, I ran through the treasure quest. Custom teleport points, too? Stop reading my mind!
There are no words to describe how bloody cool this here mod is. Can't wait for your next project!
Edit: Did some further testing; set a custom TP point in the "respec room" in Apocropha. Hardest place I could think of to get to; can't access it at all off of Solstien. Worked perfectly.
