For stuff like terrain mesh blocking doorways etc, there are two things to check. Is it Terrain LOD or is it Landscape mesh?
Terrain Lod is low res, you can sort of walk through it, click through it and comes from mods like Terrain LOD redone. DynDOLOD uses these files to make the terrain LOD.
Landscape mesh is high res, you can't walk through it and is edited by many plugins, so can be fixed by load order, or you can forward the relevant cell landscape changes in Tes5EDIT.
Enhanced Solitude Bells of Skyrim v1 (LE, SSE) Enhanced Solitude Imperial Mail v1 (LE, SSE) (7/8/19) Enhanced Solitude LoTD v 1.1a (LE, SSE) (11/8/19) - THIS PATCH IS FOR THE OLDER VERSION OF LoTD. Get the latest patch for LotD v5 from the main LoTD patches page

Hey, I'm having trouble with this mod. It runs fine in game, but if I try to load a save file that was saved within Solitude itself I get an infinite loading screen. The only other mod I have that affects this area is The Great City of Solitude, but that should only touch the exterior to my knowledge.
Solitude is very hard to mod, with most of the area being so compact with so much stuff its a complete memory hoarder which is what is likely causing your infinite loading screen. Sometimes SafetyLoad can get me past it but I still tend to CTD if I push a single script too far or I have NPC AI mods that effect the area which puts more stress on the game. Usually for big overhauls like this I need to choose between having my lovely extended NPC dialogues and added actors but, I have a pretty low-end laptop that I mod on.
This is the mod for helping with the infinite loading screen.
This video helped me out a lot with my FPS, stress on my CPU, memory and so on. CTD's in general are a lot less likely to happen unless I've made a load order mistake or unless I'm purposely testing fun broken mods for the heck of it. My performance has been a lot better to the point where I haven't crashed and can even get through the opening buggy skyrim intro with a ton of mods on.
I also recommend this boss of a guy. His tutorials are out of this world. I've learned a lot to help optimize my game in general.
I just switched over from vortex to MO2 and man it's a game changer. Learning how to properly clean files and keep mods from stacking up in the data folder with override is awesome with the override feature. This guy gives a bunch of good tutorials on it too if you haven't moved over yet yourself. If you have! I guess ignore this last paragraph. Still hope this helped!
This looks amazing and I am currently using Great Cities Solitude for the amazing dock addition. I am trying to get this to work with legacy of the dragonborn but using Blue Palace Terrace stops me from accessing the building. Testing this out on my set up and I absolutely love this. Smooth frames great placement, able to work well with Enhanced Solitude, however I cannot find a way to make or find a patch for LoTD and Blue Palace Terrace, can anyone?
Hello! This mod is awesome, but there's some bad clipping between buildings and trees in the external area, like this: https://imgur.com/a/pZgVJBy . I was assuming it was a conflict with my flora mod, but I disabled that and the clipping is still very much there. Is this "intended" and needs some refining, or I messed up something?
Hello, I was looking forward to trying out this Solitude Overhaul, I am however using Dawn of Skyrim and JK light Cities.
After I exit the Wanking Skeever Tavern (chose live another life, patron at the inn) the game crashes. Crash fixes is implying it is a corrupt mesh. After disabling this mod, I can enter the city, no problem. Anyone else with such problems?
send me the message from crash fixes so i can double check. Also, do you know how to undelete a tes5edit ref under the map? - If you (or someone else knows what I mean) can you delete my custom SolitudebaseA and put the vanilla SolitudeBase one back in its place, returning its original x,y,z values - the reason is I did that on SSE and it improved performance. Would be interesting to see if the same thing happened on LE.
The Solitudebase mesh is the big one going from proudspire down to the blue palace.
I'm having this same problem. However, I'm using: The Great City of Solitude + Solitude Skyway + Great City of Solitude Skyway Patch + Enhanced Solitude. Do I also need to do some TES5Editing? (I barely know my way around this tool, only know autocleaning) Or is there a specific load order? Or are all of these combined just not ideal.
Description and threads say there are patches for mods, but upon install there's no install window mentioning any patches being applied. Files also do not possess the same patches mentioned from SSE. Are they WIP and on the way or...?
