A very simple and must have mod. I always felt Skyrim's boss chests or any locked chest/container contained uninspiring loot, which made adventuring through random locations/dungeons less wanting. I remember looting a boss chest after killing a dragon at a Word Wall and it contained an iron sword, 2 minor healing potions, 20 gold, and an amethyst. I was over level 40; what's up with that?
However, after downloading this mod and playing Skyrim for another 999+ hours, I've felt my experience for adventure and reward triple in itself! There's almost nothing like opening a chest that contains an enchanted weapon and armor, assorted potions, jewels, 100+ gold, and magical scrolls, simply because the loot chance was tripled. Thanks for this mod! Again, it's a must have for everyone!
Is this mod still good enough? Ive' been looking for a replacement for the "More interesting loot mod" by Genghisbob because thanks to the immersive jewelry mod i'm apparently at the limit of hat leveled lists can hold believe it or not (only by 3 entries though, but better safe then sorry).
why nobody did that before I don't know, I didnt play for year(s) just trying to mod it back to "best game ever" and when testing I did a few dungeons... at the end of a dungeon I kill a boss and I get what in the chest ? 4 gold....seriously 4 gold O_O c'mon....maybe I won't have to cheat carry weight just to hoard thousands of items to sell to get 500gold with your mod, thx !
Just found this mod by accident. I'm suppriced no one has overhauled the loot yet.. this mod makes a huge difference when going through dungeons, and I only use the double amount one. You just feel happy when spotting a big chest I wish you would go through the rest of the chests and do the same. something like, x3 loot in boss chests and x2 loot in regular chests, I still think the regular chests need some loving too... And this goes perfect with mods like expensive skyrim that makes the shops more expensive, and selling your stuff for alot less moeny, meaning you have so sell alot of stuff to get money. This mod is awesome, I love it... Will you consider giving the regular chests a bit more loot too?
The same issue when paying realistic prices for inns, not that hobo 10 gold pieces. Now you really need to start making some real greenbacks if you want to not be sleeping in the wilds for most of the game.
I get so many more enchanted items and gold in chests, now, that it kinda feels similar to a diablo-like game with lots of loot It makes it feel much more worthwhile and rewarding to beat a boss or go loot a random dungeon Thanks for this!
Endorsed!! Even though I have it set for the larger amount, I still go through gold like crazy! LOL But I seriously ENJOY finding more treasure after I've and while I tackle a dungeon. It simply feels more rewarding. Thank you for this mod!!!
