I installed everything needed for this mod, and I can't find the spell/tome/shout or whatever it is that it gives. I also have the AddItemMenu installed and looked into the esp through that and I didn't find anything. Am I missing something?
Hello, When I cast the spells on myself or an npc nothing happens. I tried reinstalling uiextentions and that didn't work. Does anyone know what may be going on? This looks like an awesome mod, I would like to figure out how to make it work.
Edit: Got it working for own character, but doesn't work on NPCs. The overlays show up in the menu for NPCs, but applying them doesn't change anything. What can be done to fix this?
Hey there, I know this is an old post kinda, but the info may be helpful to others.... so here I am. For me, this is how I got this mod here functioning on NPC's.
Of note, I also use Slavetats mod from LL.... and its part of how I get this mod working. I only grabbed the Slavtats mod due to this one not working for NPC's.
Anyway...., like you, when I brought up the EFF racemenu for NPC's, the tats were there, but were not being applied.... it seemed.
What I discovered by accident....... So I added a few of those tats via the EFF menu anyway, initially trying to figure out why they were not appearing, After trying different thngs, like moving mods around, etc..., I gave up, left it alone, and went on my way in game doing other things. It was at this point when I went to LL and downloaded the Slavtats mod.
On another play session, I decided to use the Slavtats mod to add a tattoo to the same npc.. As soon as I added one tattoo from that mod, ALL the tats via this mod, EFF, then became immediately visible on the npc.
So, why or how this works... I cannot say. But, it is consistent ever since. Works on all npc's every time.... as long as after I use the EFF menu to apply tats (that don't appear at that moment), I then apply 1 tattoo from Slavtats.... and BAM, they are all visible.
Hope this helps others or even the author track down the underlining issue maybe.
I downloaded this mod hoping I'd simply have showracemenu available for NPCs. I suppose facial edits for NPCs are more complicated than body mesh edits.
if I understand correctly you want more customization options for the face of the npc. if you know how to work with presets then you can try this - NPC Appearance Changer? But at the moment many have problems to get it to work properly. so it's worth reading the comments for this plugin on SE and LE versions.
To answer the question, having an option to change the hair isn't possible. The NPCs' hair styules are "baked in" on their head/facegen data. So the only way to change their hair is to make a brand new face for them, an NPC face swap mod, or by giving the a wig from a mod. This is also why you can't change their face shapes. Everything is "baked in".
They fixed this in Fallout 4 which is why you're able to change everything with the NPCs in that game, but not this one and previous BGS games.
There's a bug where your changes will revert when loading a game or some cells. They should return automatically after some time, but it's inconsistent and I have never figured out exactly what causes it. It's a bug with either Racemenu or UIE. It's also possible changes to non-unique NPCs will not stick, but I have experienced this bug on unique NPCs so that's not the entire issue.
I'm sure about this mod specifically, but I use regular EFF all the time. Changing NPCs like Guards and Bandits will screw up other guards and NPCs who all share the same NPC templates. Those NPCs also seem to randomly despawn and respawn with a different NPC template, so the game does not keep track of them in that way.
As for regular NPCs, things like their body shape with the UUNP and CBBE sliders always stay in tact don't get messed up. For Body Scales, I'm not 100% sure if those have issues. I personally only use them to adjust an NPC or the player's height and head size. I don't touch the other sliders. If I want to adjust the body, I use the UUNP sliders.

Much appreciated.
I hope you succeed =)
