At the bottom of form ID 40066096 we get 4 errors, and I don't wanna delete these properties.
Could you tell us the values to add, please?

I prefer to not wait on your update, because..
    It's just about 4 errors.
Thanks for making this mod :)

Thank you for making this! Is it possible for you to update this version of the mod to match the current version of the Special Edition one? Also, there is a season mod for Oldrim now, a port of Obsidian Weathers and Seasons.

Hello. I like this mod and use it. I'm currently translating and having fun playing. I would like to make a request, but I would like to distribute the Korean version of the mod on the Nexus. Can I get your permission?

You mean an 'interface / translations / ' text for Korean? Sure. I have no problem with that.

I am working on a slight update (off and on for a few months, real life has reduced a lot of my playing and modding), but that won't be out for a while, and in any case most of the MCM won't be affected by that as currently planned.

As a Requiem and Survival Mod using player, THANK YOU! This is a must have mod for me in every play-through.

I have used it since release and I have had no issues.

If the seasonal weather mod from SE comes to original Skyrim to pair with this, my life will be complete.

There used to be a mod like this waaay back on an older Frostfall version and I've missed it so much, so thank you!

In all honesty, it would not take much to convert them. Both Obsidian Weathers and Aequinoctium Weathers each took me no more than ten minutes to covert it to Skyrim LE. The scripts (2 for Obsidian, 4 for Aequinoctium) easily compiled without issue, and the the esps saved without error. Obsidian includes a single mesh ('heavystormsky') that I presume will work as normal in Skyrim LE as in Skyrim SE, but it is possible that the mesh will need some form of conversion, since meshes in Skyrim SE are sometimes a bit different from those in Skyrim LE. Unfortunately there is no program to directly convert them as there is for converting Skyrim LE meshes into Skyrim SE meshes.

The real problem is that Obsidian Weathers uses sound assets and referrences Region inputs of both Dawnguard and Dragonborn (since inclusion of those are automatic in Skyrim SE), so only those playing classic Skyrim with both of those DLCs could use a conversion of Obsidian Weathers (presuming the sky mesh is not an issue). Likewise, Aequinoctium Weathers also includes assets from those same two DLCs. That might be why omega2008 has not converted Aequinoctium Weathers and kojak747 has not converted Obsidian Weathers.

But if you have those DLCs and the Creation Kit, then all that should be needed to create a personal port to Skyrim LE is openning each mod in the Creation Kit and then clicking the save button. To be completely careful it would also be a good idea to re-compile the scripts (which I did with nexus' Skyrim Script Editor Pro - /skyrim/mods/60575 ) and replace the former compiled scripts with the newly re-compiled versions. And, as I mentioned before, I honestly do not know if Obsidian's sky mesh will be an issue or not.

I don't think you can open the new (flag 44) .esp's in the old Creation kit, it gets all kurfluffled, in order to do it, you have to recreate the ESP by hand, but I could be wrong

? I had no difficulty, and when I openning the esp in tes5Edit afterward showed its form version was 43. Perhaps some esps cannot be converted. I can see this happening if the esp referrences data fields that are new to SSE, but at least for Obsidian Weathers I did not have this issue.

The Esp actually did convert fine, the BSA however is problematic, it needs to be rebuilt in the "older" BSA format, or what I did is just extract it to its own folder in Mod Organizer. I'm currently testing it

Ah, now I see. I always unpack the bsa files before converting a mod, and I tend to leave them loose afterward. You are right that the bsa format is different, so if you wish to use them with bsa archives rather than with loose files then when converting you will also need to re-archive them at that time.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm familiar with TES5edit and the CK so I may have a go at making a personal conversion for my setup and see how it goes.

I'll keep the script-compiling and BSA's in mind! I'd be happy to just have a personal version, which I do with many mods, but if all goes well I could look into the permissions behind said mods.

All you need to do is open and save the mod in the Creation kit, and extract the BSA (or rebuild it with a BSA packer for classic) TESEDIT, CANNOT save the plugin in the 43 form, so you'll be going around in circles for days trying to do it.

Please CMIIW, Vanilla Frostfall changed Throat of the World climate to warm and this mod revert it back to cold

Vanilla Frostfall did not change the region to be warm, it just simply did not designate the area as a its own named region nor assign the area to any neighboring named region. As a result the mountain did not have a pre-set temperature set for it, and therefore it defaulted to using the category "Unknown" (temperature tier 9).

But in addition to this Frostfall also placed over-riding maximum temperature limits as you ascended the mountain. -5 for the path up to almost High Hrothgar, -10 from there until just after High Hrothgar, -15 for most of the path to the summit, and a brief bit of -20 just before the summit. The summit itself has a maximum of +10. Because these maximum limits were so far below the default temperature ( 9 ), they effectively became the fixed temperature for those altitudes on this mountain in vanilla Frostfall.

What this mod did - as of version 1.1 - was give the mountain its own named region and set that region to use the Arctic / Snow category, which as a default uses -10 (but can be adjusted up or down as you wish). So for most of the path to High Hrothgar the Arctic / Snow category will have more importance than the maximum (of -5).

But at that time I also created a 'Dangerous Mountain' version that adds 3 more tiers to the ascent. Since each tier is -5 colder than the prior, not only does the maximum soon eclipse the (default for this mod) Arctic / Snow temperature, but by the time you reach near the summit the maximum temp is -35. So the path from High Hrothgar (itself at -15 instead of -10) to the summit is quite a bit more dangerous for the unprepared.

hello, excellent complement for Frostfall !

But does your mod is compatible with version 3.1.1 of Frostfall?

    Thanks

Honestly, I do not know. I just used the most recent version of Frostfall when making this mod (v3.4.1). I can only suggest testing it to find out. This mod only changes 2 scripts. The only possible issue that comes to mind is that the climate script had a hotfix that forwarded an identical change made in the previous version's hotfix. So long as no major changes were made between 3.1.1 and 3.4.1 then it *should* work with it.

ok thanks i will try. I ask because I have a big complex installation, so if I update Frostfall I also have to update all the other mods that depend on it. thank you

Well, keep in mind that Frostfall uses 10 tiers of coldness to determine the effects of the temperature. The highest tier is every +18 and higher (18, 19, 20, ...). The lowest is -14 and lower (-14, -15, -16, ...). So it does not matter if the temperature is -15 or -40 - either way its affect on you is the same, except for how long (or how much warmth) it take to warm up from the tenth tier to the ninth tier of coldness.
