I've never really used windows 10, so I'm not sure, but if you don't know where the cme_save folder is supposed to be, but you have an idea of where it's supposed to be, go into skyrim and save a preset. That way I think it should create the cme_save folder along the the preset you made in the right place. Try looking again after that. Btw, what do you mean by 'both skyrim folders'?
windows 10 seems to separate some of the skyrim folders, one folder has the data and such and the other folder seems to be the files you cant really mess with.this is a new pc for me so windows 10 I am not used to yet. Or windows totally F..ed the file system.
and I have no idea where the cme save folder should be. thanks for your help, looking forward to a new character .
I actually managed to find my cme_save folder by searching in the windows start menu (I imagine win 10 still has something like that). Try there and/or going to your skyrim folder(s) and searching.
to answer your question, though, the location should be somewhere along the lines of C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\CME_save.
If this doesn't help, can u show me the addresses of both skyrim folders you speak of?
Sure can, rhe my games folder along with the other Skyrim folder seems to contain ini files and such., but the c/user/program/steam/steam apps/Skyrim containers much more detailed files. Why windows or Microsoft EDGE moves files all around is annoying., I will search again in steam apps file again. Thanks for your valuable time in helping me.
This is how it is for me since im using win7, but just in case if it works for windows 10, my cme_folder is in the same folder as the normal 'saves' folder which is the folder with the files for when you save your game progress.
This preset actually gave me a silly idea for a character. Too bad I use Racemenu and not ECE.
Basically I had this idea for a character who felt they looked so out of place in skyrim that they would mask their identity, and wear bulky heavy armor.
(Basically I got the idea from the Leper from Darkest Dungeon of all places.)
I actually used race menu a lot more for the longest time. I liked how you could sculpt the face (definitely a lot easier than ECE), but unlike ECE, there was almost no way to customize the rest of the body, length of legs, size of torso, waist, etc.
As I was typing this, I remembered, I think I used to use one of these as my foundation for creating a character with race menu. Let me know how you like it. hope it helps. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83916/?
Ok, well after looking at that link more closely, I realized there's probably a way to export my head. I'll see if I can figure that out for you.
One idea could be a character save with the face, then someone with racemenu could attempt to export it to racemenu. Idk how well that would work though.
Everyone I want to say thank you for all the endorsements and downloads. This is the first thing I've ever uploaded onto the nexus, so it makes me really happy that so many people like it.
Do you know how to apply the preset in game? When creating your character, under the 'Body' Tab use the 'Slot Load' slider to pull up a menu, click 'next' once, then select 'slot1'. You can also rename "_1_commonTriRaces.slot" by changing the number to what ever slot you want to load it from.
I do but the character looks nothing like the photos and i have the recommended mods as well. Wrong hair, eyes, and body in general. Thought maybe it was a leftover something from another mod.
Do you have any mods that alter the body/face? I recall when I tried using Botox for Skyrim, it messed up my characters face quite a bit and I hadn't tried looking for a workaround, yet. If you want to show your load order, you should be able to copy and paste it from one of the text files, i think either loadorder or plugins at 'C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\Skyrim'. Appdata is a hidden folder, so you either need to unhide it or type it in manually on the address bar( i think that's what it's called)
This is precisely why it is not generally recommended to try and inject too much realism into designs like Anime... For example, hand drawn, those eyes would look cute if you're into Anime aesthetics- Which I am, to an extend, and yet all I see here is the border line cross AND droopy eyed result of cross breeding E.T. and a Barbie doll. If I were obliged to be less sarcastic, I'd say it looks like an Azura from Guild Wars 2, although that's not exactly something to be proud of, if you were going for Human. In any case, TLDR the concept probably did not translate too well in game :P
As for the age thing; Going by Anime standards and depictions(Which seems to be what you're going for) of various ages, I would not even try and guess the age of Anna here- If you say it's appropriate, then it is. Quite honestly if Anime get away with the stuff they pull off in that regards, I don't see why you shouldn't be fine.

As such, I cannot load this preset.
