Gamwich, thank you once again for another great retexture. Your mods are greatly appreciated by this community.
I use 90% of your mods because when it comes down to the things touched by them, your textures are simply the best on Nexus or any other modding community. Your textures are better than several modern games that should have far better texture quality than they originally have. That's how good they are. They're mandatory mods for me.
Now, are you open to suggestions about things to retexture? If the answer is yes, then my suggestion would be to retexture even more creatures, like spiders for instance. You did an outstanding job with the Rustic Dragon Corpse, Horker, Death Hound, Gargoyle and Spriggan. Another mod creator named Kajuan already has the best available retextures for 10 creatures, some of them pretty common to encounter in the game like skeletons, draugr, giants, trolls and such. So I was thinking that if you continue to do these Rustic Creatures retextures we will eventually have a game with pretty good textures for every creature/monster. I thought the same about clothes some time ago, when I was away from Skyrim, but then I came to your page to see the news and Talos be praised: Rustic Clothing was complete.
No problem if you have other plans. Take your time and do what you really want to do. You already did a lot, and continue to do so.
Thanks for the kind words. Kajaun is a friend, and he certainly does excellent retextures. I'm not really doing major overhauls these days, as my time is limited.
Funny you mention it, but the frostbite spider is one other creature that I have been working on. Bethesda never included it in their hi-res packs, and even when they ported to SSE they left the textures at their original 1K size. That is rather small for such a large in-game model. They should've made it 2K at least.
The response of the month. Made my morning. Glad I wasn't holding my coffee.
Thank you Gamwich, for all the great textures. You've managed to make Wrye Bash choke on my load order due to the number of mods (read textures). Have a happy 4th!
Why did you do this after I installed all the mods? Now I'll have to start over again. -_____-I liked your rustic soul gems mod. Have you thought making a "Rustic Namira's Ring" or better yet "Rustic Daedric Artifacts"? :D
That is likely just a coincidence. If the mod was just a texture replacer (no other file types included), then a texture swap alone won't cause the game to crash. You might get a "black texture" in game if there's insufficient VRAM to load it, or a "purple texture" if it fails to load at all due to a faulty install, but textures alone don't cause CTDs.
I didn't realize I needed this until you retextured it. Next thing you know you retexture the inside of the PCs nose and I suddenly reconsider its importance. I adore everything you make. .-.
So yeah. I forgot that I didn't have a texture for Azura's star. One of these days I would love an AIO pack from you.

Also, maybe you can put your eye on that never-modded Meridia ball?
