aaa i love this mod, i'm playing as the daughter of a bosmeri noble and dunmer priest to azura and she's trying to get in touch with her roots. the only problem is that some of the item textures seem to be missing in the item menu? not that they're showing up blue, but the model isn't showing up at all
This looks like a wonderful mod! I think it would go well with Hunterborn and Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, it would definitely give more options for meat eaters and such!
This mod is great! Aside from en0ush's comment about moon sugat, I have just one hangup: the "Bosmeri Kumis". It's an actual Thing in lore, fermented pig milk called Jagga, and is an integral part of Bosmeri cuisine. It also requires less than five minutes on UESP to confirm this info. It would be great if you corrected this if you decide to update the mod.
Thank you for the suggestion! I had somehow missed the lore on Jagga when I was doing research for this mod. The name for "Bosmeri Kumis" has been changed to "Bosmeri Jagga" in an updated version.
Unfortunately I don't have SSE and I'm not sure what is required to make it work for that edition. This is a very simple mod though and it shouldn't be difficult to port. I'll see if there's anything I can do about it without having SSE to test and experiment with.
you could convert it with the sse ck and then publish saying that it hasn't been tested on sse. as long as you use nifoptimizer on the meshes and save to form 44 there shouldn't be any issue. integration with completely cooking and alchemy overhaul would be kind of cool but that's usually patchable anyway.
Interesting. Seems like this is one of the best cannibal mods I've seen so far (there really is far too many of those... what of us non-wasteful warriors of the wild, who like to eat everything we kill? And yes, I do mean EVERYTHING. I WILL cook hagraven. :P) Very nice work.
So if I understand correctly, anyone can actually cook and eat those recipes, right? Not just a Bosmer?
Also, does someone know if this is compatible with the hearts from the Heartbreaker mod?
Yes, anyone can cook these foods like with vanilla Skyrim cooking, there are no race prerequisites or recipes to find.
As for the Heart Breaker mod, from my understanding that mod allows you to choose what heart is added to your inventory after the kill move. Bosmeri Cuisine only recognizes the vanilla heart, so if there are any options to add fancy hearts, these probably won't work.
Alright. Thank you kindly for the answer. I'll try and see if I can set up Heart Breaker to gove me vanilla hearts, and if not, I got Corpse Harvesting Gear installed, so I'll manage easily.
Much appreciated, and thanks again for this great addition to my beloved mod list.
I'm not sure how CC Survival Mode determines which items are classed as food items. If a specific value needs to be assigned for the consumable to reduce hunger, then it's likely not. If it automatically detects items in the food category then it should work.
I don't own CC Survival Mode so I can't test it myself, but you can always download the mod and see if the food items from it reduce hunger or not. If it's not working, just uninstall the mod as it's only one file and easy to delete without breaking anything.
