Can recycling stolen items be optional?

Dear friend there is a small bug if you use some kind of followers mod, alas Amazing follower tweaks" or similiar, then you can just put all your hoarded loot from poor people of Skyrim into any public container (barel, chest ..) from which you can normaly take anything you want with no penalty... so, just put it there and after  that order your follower to loot that container - he will loot it and then you check his inventory you wont see anythign stolen, then you can just normaly carry it around (^-^)

    Good mod,
Would love if one could also turn clothes into linen, things like shoes, gloves and hoods that aren't made of leather.

    10/10 great mod :)

oh god at last, a simple reciclyng mod that adds leather and corundum recipes withour being overly complicated (I'm looking at you "Melt down everything")
I would happily use CCOR buuuuuuuut it conflicts with ordinator so... yeah

    THX for this one

BTW if your are going for "inmersion" both bone and gems would make more sense in a workbench

edit: I just realized that this one too requires perks... and I'm pretty sure that conflicts with ordinator... is there any way to take away the perks requirement?

      Hm,

I'll look into this further. I am currently using ORDINATOR and SMELTING PLUS on a new character and the smelting works so far for all non-perk items, but I may have to do some testing and see if I can make an Ordinator version. As for your suggestion: Yes that would make more sense, but I wanted to make the mod as simple as possible, thus having all recipes except leather at the smelter seemed easy enough to me.

For now, you CAN install the mod and all non-perk items will still smelt for sure.

UPDATE: So far the perks have worked fine with Ordinator. I am able to smelt Dwarven items after picking the Ordinator version of Dwarven smelting. Please let me know if you have any issues.

Awesome mod, but I think you might have missed one of the most logical "smelting recycling" options; Smelting "Empty Wine Bottles" into "Glass".

That's a good idea. I'm not sure how useful this will be though, since glass is only available with the Hearthfire DLC to build parts of your house...
I'm working on a minor feature update, so I'll probably add this into the Special Edition version of this mod, and I'll try and thing of more uses I can implement.

    Hi, is this mod redundant?

I don't believe so. It appears that mod adds around 5 recipes for SIiver, whereas Smelting Plus adds about 300 for every ingot in the game.

Also, I originally released this mod on Steam Workshop 4 years ago and have simply uploaded it to Nexus this week.
      (So it's not a copy)
