i made a body, i want to use it. It saves as .xml BUT all the presets that show up are .jslot. game, racemenu whatever tf i'm looking at doesn't recognise .xml files. what the f*#@? (i want to praise these mods, IF ONLY I COULD UNDERSTAND THEM)
I have been digging for hours and cannot figure this out. No one has an answer that I can understand.
I created slider sets in bodyslide and assigned all of my clothing and armors to them. What I cannot do is figure out how to get those presets into racemenu. I can hit f9 all day, but nothing shows up.
1. what files do i need to locate 2. where do i find those files 3. where do i need to move them to
this is probably some easy stuff for someone out there, but I am at my wits end. Please help
so there is just no way to switch xml files to jslot files and I just do not know what to do at this point. I've searched e v e r y w h e r e and there is no way to do it. Makes me sad because I have cute armor that looks funny without being able to use the different presets I have. If there is ANY WAY to fix that for the love of god someone let me know before I lose my mind.
I spent an hour making a character in-game with RaceMenu and I've been trying to figure out how to put my RaceMenu Preset into BodySlide, but for the life of me, I CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT!!!
Edit: I finally decided to just copy it over by hand. It took a bit of time alt+tabbing between Skyrim and BodySlide, but it was definitely worth it. I just wish I had done it sooner... Soooo many hours wasted...
What do I do with the overwrite files (bodyslide>meshes etc.)? I've tried making an empty mod and setting BS to path out to it upon building but I still cant get CBBE racemenu to work properly for the player character. the npc's have built armored bodies while wearing clothe but if I loot them in game it goes back to vanilla body. what am I doing wrong? is anyone else having this issue on MO2. I recently switched over from NMM and am hitting a learning curve... thanks for any info on this.
Is there any easy way to export slider values to a preset in bodyslide? Or do I have to do what I normally do and continuously alt+tab between skyrim and bodyslide?
please for the love of god will someone tell me how to open the bodyslide utility? there's no option i can find to open it in game, i can't find an app for it to open in my folders on my computer. it's like there's a critical step everybody universally knows how to do except for me.
I'm very new to this and have no idea what I'm doing. I'm trying to export a preset from bodyslide to SSE, but I need a .jslot file and the only ones on bodyslide are .xml. Is there any way to change this, or am I just blind and not seeing a very big "convert" button?

I made a character in Racemenu for CBBE petite.
I then made a bunch of changes.
But, a lot of custom outfits don't fit properly.
How can I open the preset I saved ( F5 ) .... in Racemu, in Bodyslide, and resize armours to fit exactly ?
It seems that Bodyslide only allows you to srart with standard presets.... so it's all guesswork.
Surely I can import my preset made in RM, and then Batch build certain armours to ensure they fit me ?
