Interesting. From an immersion perspective it could be possible to create an NPC(s) to act as a chief architect who builds each of your homes over a period of time. Will note this for later.
Adding mods during a playthrough is generally ok. It's removing them you should be cautious about. If you're worried about it there's a similar mod that doesn't require the unofficial patch. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78074?
It won't no because it has USLEEP as a master. You would have to change the name of the master in tes5edit and then save in the new CK. I didn't know this mod already existed, and on original version too. Just took a look at the plugin and they are a little different. That mod also makes HF food free to bake and doesn't have USLEEP as a master so overwrites a couple of fixes. It also has some ITMs. Nothing that couldn't be fixed in tes5edit but not everyone knows how to use it.
what's the name of the other one? i'm in an old playthru and still have the old uskp and does this add chests w/ all the materials needed, or does it change the way homes are built?
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1084?tab=description is basically the same for sse but the zip file is broken. Really love to have that for sse cause it is the simplest and best solution. All those cheating chests offer way too much or a bugging for me. If you would consider a sse port of your mod Garyman, I'm pretty sure not only me would be very gratefull.
Added SE version to the optional files if that helps. I haven't had a chance to test it so let me know if there is any problems. It requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.
Works nice, thank you very much. Obviously the modmanager doesn't work with a sse mod on the oldrim page you might consider to release it on sse too. Manual install works perfectly though. Thanks again
Cool. Thanks for letting me know. Yeah that's a bit of an annoying thing. I know MO2 lets you link to different games now but I guess other mod managers don't so I'll add an SE page at some point.
Wow. Six years later and finally building the Hearthfire houses is un-tedious enough for me to get the 'Architect' achievement. You've opened up a whole section of content that I never managed to get to due to being bored to tears by all the grind work involved. My thanks.
This sounds like a really interesting mod, thank you! Saves time as re-building these homes takes long and on a new playthrough it's just not fun anymore...too much of a chore..

Both mods work the same way by removing the requirements directly from the recipes. Neither add any chests since no materials are needed.
