NO, I will not be adding animations.
NO, I will not be creating patches.
Yes, you can do these things yourself.
Yes, I will provide a link to your mod if you create a patch.

I DO plan on creating different grimoires/tomes/holy books for different types of players. ALSO I plan on being able for these to be compatible with "Religion - Prayer Meditation Worship" by IronDusk33 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67663. However as he is currently in the process of re-working his mod that will have to wait until after he's done, but still something to look forward to. Not sure exactly what that will entail yet, perhaps different, more powerfull grimoires/holybooks becoming available on the player's level of devotion to the different divines or daedra. In this regard, if anyone is willing to help make custom book textures for the different divines and daedra please contact me.

I'm not aware of any Divine themed books, but some ideas for daedric grimoires include the oghma infinium for hermaeus mora, and the dreamstride for Vaermina

Just ported to SSE for personal use. Working like a charm! Thank you for an immersive mod. Will be endorsing after 15 minutes!

Could I ask of you to share? Oldrim freezes like mad, while SSE doesn't so I don't really have a choice

I still have the file but MasterLucious permissions forbid me from uploading or sharing it. If they allow it, I'll happily share it with every one.

aw, fucking sick dude. SSimple, to the point, ROLE PLAY INTENSIVE, so neat. Good with wearable tomes for a librarian look. I think theres soemthign in warmonger or immersive armors that lets you wear a 4th book too. Librarian build. f*#@ yeah.

Just wish this was on SE.

Quick question, what armor (particularly the hat) is used in the images?

Is it possible to use the mesh of the holdable book and nothing else for other mods, since it's just the rerigged vanilla tome? This would be interesting to see generically on mages. If not, I can just rerig the vanilla tomes with shield nodes placed in the same area they are on yours. It would just make it easier to take yours and retexture it a few times

Since these apply wards when blocking, will they provide block or restoration experience when used? Any plans for mod manager download?

I have a suggestion which would make this mod 100 times cooler if possible / if you don't mind! - could you make it so the grimoire opens when you draw it out for combat and then closes when you are in rest position / put your weapon down?

    That would be super cool!!!

I agree, I'd love to see a version with open grimoire. If it would be static and always open, it would still be good in my opinion. It doesn't need to open and close.
Also may I ask what is the outfit the character is wearing on the screenshots?

I don't remember the name, but it's either one of the standalone sets, or retextures done by Lind01

This is actually really cool! Do you have any plans to have them appear in the level list, namely to have them possible to acquire through the College of Winterhold (Finally give us a reason to buy things from the Urag)?

No, and the reason is this: There are no requirements to actually equip the grimoires. The requirements exist solely in the ability to craft different increasingly powerful versions of it. Think of it as your character's personal spell book. As you become a more powerful mage, you are able to write more magical books. Allowing a low level player to buy/find the master grimoire would be too OP.

What if you were to put them into level lists so that early players cant take advantage of a book that is too high for them or just let them all out there but make it so it has consequences if they try to use on too early like a rebound effect.

I like InDoLu's idea. How many times have we seem in games/movies/books, an apprentice that gets their hands on something they shouldn't have, and caused uncontrollable havok, or hurt/killed themselves. Casting beyond your skill has x% chance of instantly killing yourself. Immersion ++
