@lostami: I really don't know what to tell you. After doing some texture adjustment I realized I have to give the steel more sheen. And I started to work hard on it. But I had to stop. Currently simply I don't have time for this. As for fur I think It's a matter of taste. And... maybe I agree with you but to remove the fur I would have to change the mesh as well (not only textures), and this is a lot of work.
It's a tad to white it loses that feel of steel, it's starting to impact texture detail, also a maybe change the cloth joints to chain mail of a darker color then the plates to give contrast, and if your up to it, GET RID OF THAT DAMNEDABLE FUR!

PS: Have you given thought to the idea of a mirror finish on the plate?

Can't get this mod to work for the life of me. Tried using the NMM and it says it install correctly, but the armor never changes. I tried installing manually and same thing. I've checked all my other mods and have nothing that would effect armor appearance. I'm wearing full steel plate but I just can't get this mod to work. Any help would be appreciated. I really like this mod!
I think it is possible. I only have to learn a bit more about CK ;-) (Skyrim is my first graphics modding object from TES series). I've already started working on v2.0. Many changes will come, despite I try to stick to the original design and form of the vanilla plate armor.
Any chance you plan on making this a stand alone armor that is craftable via the ck? I would like to have both as I feel you're retexture is more of champion/paladin piece than an average steel armored foe.
Thanks again. Really, this time I wasn't going to build something amazing. It is just a retex which I made to make my Skyrim playing more pleasant for me. But finally after retexing I thought: Why not to share it with you. That is why this simple mod is here on Nexus.
