Having tried this out it not a bad mod but it is, it is more of a book shop than a library.
Is this a brand new library or has it been their as long as whiterun? if it has why is it so empty? their is enough people in their but their is not one actually reading.
if it is a failing book store can players character buy it, in order to make it into a library.
so.. how does one add a statue of an elf to a city of nords? xD
silliness aside, something else would probably look much better, maybe like a smaller word wall.. well, without the ability to teach you a shout, glowing words, and the 'hoi..hoi..hoi' loop that the word walls have
Yes. I agree that Whiterun could really use a bookstore or library, and I'm happy to see someone working on that, but there's certainly some things which could be improved!
- The space is fairly large and empty space - The interior space couldn't possibly exist where the door places it outside - it would be in the pool (and higher than it). - it doesn't really have anything to *do* or much in the way of personality to attract a player to it
With some work and content this could be a really nice addition though!
Yeah, I definitely agree with you. More bookcases. I would actually try to model off of a real life library. You know, one of those old ones. I think this mod is a good base and can definitely be improved upon
Nice, I think it needs to be deeper underground. w/ a longer stair case leading down justifying area it consumes underground. More candles, Lanterns or fires explaining the reasons why its so bright underground. I don't think there needs to be a rear exit. But I like the spaciousness, Seems studious to me. I'd ditch the billboard signs. Oh yea, more book shelves almost touching the ceiling.
True, the Snow Elf doesn't fit. However, it would have been good if there was a staircase - either round or straight - leading waaayyyyy down - it would make sense then that the library is so big.
Alternatively, good ol'Hermie could somehow fit in.

I've fixed some of them.
And I'm working for the smaller interior place.
I've uploaded optional esp file.
Now lower ceiling, more candles and longer stairs as you said.
