NOTE: If you experience an issue where you cannot buy one of the Deeds, please use the console to type in the following two commands: Command 1 (Market): show _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseMarketOwned Command 2 (Noble): show _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseNobleOwned If either of those come back as "1" AND you haven't actually bought the respective house yet, LEAVE THE BANK (! ! !) and then use the following command(s): Command 3 (Market): set _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseMarketOwned to 0 Command 4 (Noble): set _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseNobleOwned to 0 Now when you go back into the bank, Silren should have the deed(s) in his merchant inventory.
NOW UPDATED TO WORK PROPERLY WITH FORGOTTEN STORIES!! Yay! (Well, apart from the above, no idea how that comes to pass if it does.)
I have finally gotten around to updating the mod for Forgotten Stories. However, I have not rebuilt anything, just fixed the stuff that affects gameplay (such as being unable to buy the deed). This means everything should be working as intended now (maybe even better), but the interior will not match the exterior, as Forgotten Stories has made changes to the city layout of the Nobles Quarter. I *might* eventually find the motivation to release a big update with a new crafting wing, which I would then upload to the Enderal Nexus page.
However, not updating the interior also means that I haven't put in a Phasmalist Workbench. I suggest using Build Mode to put one into the crafting wing, for example next to the stairs down to the smithy.
UPDATING should be fine, but you should delete the old script (loose files) in order to restore the original. (See Description --> Update for details.)
Honestly no idea. Haven't touched any version of Skyrim in forever, for the longest time I didn't even know Enderal was out for SSE. xD Try it and report back here? :)
I did own the house in noble district, followed your direction as they were given on the description page. There is no deed in the bank, and my game does not recognize the console command Show 00e nq24 playerhousenobleowned. I am at a loss what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help me?
For some reason I could get into the house, and buy the changes. Everything looks so nice. Thank you very much for this. And I found a key as well.... :)
The command is with underscore: show _00e_nq24_playerhousenobleowned [<-- There is a space between show and _00e...]
And did you get into the house via console command? Either now or earlier? Because once you enter it by any means, ownership is set to 1 and the deed won't show up in Silren's inventory anymore.
Either way, the furniture board is completely unaffected by the deed, so even if you can't buy the deed, you can still cheat your way into the houses and then buy the upgrades.
OOOooooh someone has found the easter egg! It's for an unfinished part of the house where I wanted to get into quest modding and dungeon making, but then a game from my teenage years that had been shut down for a decade resurfaced and I spent the next two years playing that. If I ever get back to Enderal and modding, the ideas are still there, but so is the learning curve I'd have to master before being able to implement them. So for now the key doesn't do anything, but cool that you found it! :)
I really like what you have done in the noble house, I add a Phasmalist Workbench with jaxons in the smithy area, find the home build clunky and awkward to use its much quicker to make a copy of something and add it to inventory and place it with jaxons. I just wish it would keep the name, it keeps it after buying and first entering then turns into 'unoccupied house' once you leave and come back and I always name it after a home in one of my fave books; Gramarye and seeing that change to unoccupied house is a sad, sad thing. I would like to see this separate to the marketplace one day, I prefer another mod for the market, this one; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/86349? and worried that they could conflict horribly even if I place that one below this one in MO2. I guess one way to find out is try it and see.
I had actually started on a separate version with an updated, standalone marketplace home, but never finished it because I started playing a different game. I wouldn't hold my breath for two standandalone houses, but should I ever pick Enderal back up again, it might happen.
Hi, thanks for making this! You definitely make the nobles' quarter home look like the upper class house as it's supposed to be.
One question, if I move Tharael in or bring any other followers inside, will they sandbox and use the crafting stations, seats etc? I feel bad for Tharael because dude's just perching on the 2nd floor railing while watching me eat.
I haven't played Forgotten Stories far enough, so I don't know how it is in practice. I haven't placed any extra idle markers, but as far as I remember, I did navmesh the house, so any followers should at least use the regular furniture and crafting stations. Also, sorry for the late reply, I'm not really active in modding at the moment.
Hello I tried installing this mod but I encountered some problems, first of all in the bank I can't find the deed for the smaller house even though I didn't own any of the two. So I bought the noble house which came to the price of 3960 if I remember correctly (for the cheapest package). I then went there and found a book with the explanation of the various rooms, it said the house should come furnished with some weapon racks and those are there, and a bed but that is not present. Should I buy the furnitures for it to popup or it should be included already? Thanks if anyone could help me I hope I didn't do anything wrong installing it, I used Mod Organizer 2 because installing it manually or Vortex didn't work.
Now I went back to it after leaving the city and it says "Unoccupied house" so it lost the name I used.
Hi, sorry for the late-ish reply, I'm not currently playing Enderal.
Regarding buying the deed, check the sticky on this comment thread or the description of this mod for a fix. This is a known bug that may be related to older versions of my Deserted Ruin Player Base mod (if you have that, and/or you savegame is that old), but there may be new mods that tried the same thing as I, and therefore produced the same bug.
As for the bed, I'm not sure if I've actually made it available from the start or if you have to buy the upper floor furniture first.
And lastly, there's unfortunately nothing I can (or want to) do about the house losing its name, as that is managed by a script in base Enderal that doesn't directly have anything to do with furnishing the house but rather with buying it, and I do not want to modify that.
I haven't looked at the Noble house (never did in vanilla Enderal either) but I really like what you did with the house at the Marketplace. The design is so much better then the default one. Thank you.
I hate that I get no use out of the Nobles Quarter house, but even empty they screwed it up putting all those display cases in that room without the ability to remove them. Wasted so much space with that.

Command 1 (Market): show _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseMarketOwned
Command 2 (Noble): show _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseNobleOwned
If either of those come back as "1" AND you haven't actually bought the respective house yet, LEAVE THE BANK (! ! !) and then use the following command(s):
Command 3 (Market): set _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseMarketOwned to 0
Command 4 (Noble): set _00E_NQ24_PlayerHouseNobleOwned to 0
Now when you go back into the bank, Silren should have the deed(s) in his merchant inventory.

It also happens with "Ark Noble's Quarter Home Signpost" or when I use both, of course :c
Any ideas someone on how to fix this? I love this mod to the point that I won't bother buying the house if I can't use it haha
EDIT: I managed to fix it thanks to a SureAI Mod here.

Edit... No they don't play well together sadly.
