    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
    - Version 1.52: Fixed Bruma outfits. No new changes.
    - Version 1.51. Fixed the MadWoman NPC that randomly spawns in Skyrim. Added an option for Beyond Skyrim: Bruma. The BSB is only compatible if you are have DB and DG installed or Legendary edition.

    1. If you are using "Default Outfits For Elder NPCs" mod you must uninstall it. DOFEN and EOO are not reverse-compatible anymore. Outfit changes are now script-based instead of hard-coded into the vanilla NPC references.

    2. If you used any of the prior patch files from this mod then you must completely uninstall them ("Default Outfit for Female Elder NPCs Patch - HR2K", "Default Outfit for Female Elders NPCs Patch", "Default Outfit for Female Elders NPCs Patch for COP"). Do NOT use these files. They are obsolete. EOO version 1.5 or higher should no longer require separate patch files for mod compatibility.

If you notice any elder NPCs that should be added or other overlooked bugs from the original mod write them up in the bug section.

    Recommendation by user Qwinn:
"If I've grokked that correctly, then might I suggest converting the mod to an ESM? Cause it seems to me it should go as high in the load order as possible, even above USSEP and stuff. That would make it even more compatible, since if USSEP or another mod needed to change that CELL record for any reason (say, to move the spawn point, or to disable the character, or anything), your mod's ESM placed high enough could not possibly override those edits."

This mod uses NPC cell references to verify NPC but makes not adjustments to it. USLEEP and some mods that may alter these references (be intentional or rogue) may break functionality. If you don't use USLEEP you can ignore this recommendation.

    Edit specific NPCS:
Just open the PSC file, use FIND to scroll down find the NPC name, put a semi-colon in front of the 3 lines that refer to that specific NPC. Save the psc file. Open the mod in CK, go to QUEST, find EDO. Go to SCRIPTS. Right click on DEO startupscript EDIT SOURCE. Choose Build/Complie. Select OK . Return to the main dialog. Exit CK. Start new game and confirm affected NPC(s) are working.

Is there any way to disable specific NPCs? For example, I notice that Uthgerd is now wearing vanilla armor instead of bikini armor and I'd like to fix that.

There's an elder lady from Interesting NPCs at Darkwater that wear's CT77's short farmer outfit. Would this correct that?

This mod doesn't impact any custom mods except Bruma. iNPC can build a compatibility mod if they'd like. I probably won't be updating this mod until or unless Bruma is fully released and requiring an update which i'll take add other patch mods during the process.

Thanks very much for the mod! I'm currently using (and have used for a long time) Seniors Wear Vanilla but I downloaded your mod just in case I run into any compatibility issues with that mod and new armor mods to come.

You wrote you're looking for decent UNP Vanilla conversions. I have used this mod in the past with good results.

Thank you Hallodria for the feedback. I wasn't aware there was another elder outfit restoration mod. I'd wager I know of two mods this would conflict with however I'll download SWV and confirm the behavior. I originally intended to use Exeter's UNP mod but I noticed several armors missing needed for this mod, including DLC equipment and various outstanding bugs. I downloaded a specialized variant that was edited by Shiva (fixing some known issues) however some of these outfits had issues as well and for some odd reason Exeter took that particular mod offline. As a matter of fact I noticed several legacy UNP compilation mods were taken offline that might have been useful. It seems I may have to cherry-pick individual ones for missing pieces. Now I'm off to listen to Sister With Voices on youtube. Those abbreviations triggered me.

Here's what I've found so far just looking at this mod for 20 mins:
      Spoiler:
      Show

      1. There's a terrible neckseam on the older people (at least with the body mod I'm using).
      2. The facegen files appear to block Consistent Older People mod from working on some NPCs (I currently have it higher in the load order than SVW).
      3. SVW appears to only dress those marked as "elder" but does not cover up the "mature" NPCs such as Danica Pure-Spring and Gerda. You're still going to see some older NPCs wearing skimpy attire.
      4. This mod only makes 57 NPC edits max between male and female NPCs. There are way more that fit the list of "elder"/mature in-game.
      5. SWV makes edits to the vanilla NPC references which will lead to increased number of mod compatibility and load order problems.
      6. The new AA objects created for the elders appear to be linked back to vanilla armors rather than creating new instances. That wouldn't/shouldn't be a problem until you come across another mod making similar changes or forcing the armor back to vanilla state (effectively neutralizing the mod as a whole). This is why other modders created entirely new outfits rather than shortcutting I presume.
      7. Some the texture edits are uhhh... well I'll have to go look back at Consistent Older People. Off-hand it looks like this mod hadn't kept up with DLC and other mod changes.
      8. The exported facegens are low-res. It'll look at of place with loadouts with hi-rez textures. If it were me using the mod I'd blow the FG away and use COP instead or just allow the texture mod I'm using to override it.

On the pro-side the simpler AA edits would be much easier to create and implement (assuming other mods edit the vanilla armors thus neutralizing the changes). The generated facial files addresses the problem of texture files making older people younger or altered. However DOFEN plus COP does all the same but better and covers more NPCs (except male NPCs). If you use EOO (my mod) with COP then you'll get the same net result, less all the mod conflicts. I can actually add all the male NPCs to my script and update it less time than it took me to write this comment. LOL Honestly I have no idea why male NPCs are being included seeing as the majority of armor/clothing mods that negatively impact old male NPCs would be minimal. At least he/she advertises the changes being made. Many authors edit things for outside what info they give in their Description or ReadMe then you have to spend hours tracking down why something is your game is broken or acting abnormally. I'm not trying to trash his/her mod. I'd make the same honest assessment even if I hadn't created this mod.

For those using various body types what would you like to see as options with this patch? The body types must be permission-free. My current view is to break it the available types up into vanilla, UNP (using Exeters mod), and CBBE (using Caliente's mod).

05.13.2018. Clothing and Clutter Fixes compatiblity mod is currently under investigation. I have a patch ready but I'm waiting on contact from Kryptopyr on the best method for resolution. The following NPCs are affected by CCF: -alassandra, -DanicaPureSpring, -Drvynea, -Hamal, -Helgird, -Jora, -Madena, -Nura, -SybileStentor, -Wylandriah

05.13.2018. It has been reported in the original DOFEN mods that NPCs would appear without shoes but that starting a new game would/should resolve the issue. This is not true however. I believe this is related to DOFEN not having shoe meshes assigned to elder outfits instead of defaulting to using vanilla versions. This appears to cause some clipping on some and is also possibly related to several missing footwear . I'm spot testing some NPCs to see if assigning new meshes cures the problem.

05.13.2018. I may overwrite all of DOFEN by changing it into a script-based version so that it no longer causes conflicts with other NPC mods out there. This is no small task so I make no promise there.

07.30.2018 DOFEN Patch has been officially renamed to Elder Outfit Overhaul. This is a rework of the DOFEN mod removing the hardcoded vanilla NPC changes and making the outfits restoration script-based. This should result in less compatibility problems and patches with existing mods. Existing bugs should be fixed. There should be less shoes-to-armor clipping. The facial texture changes included in the original DOFEN have been removed as well.

Depends on what you mean. Yes it should but depends your load order and mods installed. What mods are you using? What is the load order of the mods? And which NPCs are affected (certain ones or all of them)?

I originally tested this with Tiwa's Minidress collection and skimpy armor. If you have another skimpy mod installed that doesn't work i'll need to look it and perhaps build around it. Make sure that your skimpy outfit/outfit collection is load as described on the description page though.I'm still investigating CCF so you won't see a change there yet.
