This is a note from user @JonnyWang13 from the Luminosity SE page that should help clarify compatibility questions with Luminosity and other lighting mods.
RS: Relighting Skyirm ELE: Enhanced Lighting for ENB LLO: Luminosity Lighting Overhaul LLO SIL v4: Luminosity Lighting Overhaul - Skyrim is Lit ELFX: Enhanced Lights and FX
- RS: Edits colors and adds bulbs. If you want to keep just the bulbs but use the colors from a different lighting mod, overwrite it with ELE or LLO (versions 1-3, but not 4). - ELE: edits colors only - LLO v1-3: edits colors only - LLO v4 SIL: edits colors and adds bulbs - ELFX: edits colors, adds bulbs, changes tons of objects to help reduce flickering created by excessive bulb placement - Purity: edits weathers and water
- You can overwrite mods that add bulbs with mods that change colors. - You cannot overwrite mods that add bulbs with mods that add more bulbs because then you'll have an insane amount of bulbs and tons of flickering.
I'm having crashes whenever I install this mod, I used to use it with RLS and there was never a problem, I had to install my mods all over again in the correct order, but this mod is the only one that has crashed, anyone else too?
The Shadow Scene nullptr crash (SE/AE fixed it) is in LE too, the changes to some of the lights in this or a few other mods expose it. It's not the mods themselves though. It's not been fixed for LE for some reason.
For some reason when my character takes damage I get red dots on the screen. It seems to only happen when using this mod. Not sure what would cause it, but I wanted to mention since I'm pretty confident it's this mod. I did look really good from what I could tell, I just had that weird overlay bug.
Hey, so sorry, I'm trying to understand how this all works but my brain is very tiny. So I use ELFX, and I have the Interiors part installed because the lighting is so much better, but I'm finding it to be too dark and I don't want to use Wearable Lanterns or Night Eye all the time. Would Luminosity replace vanilla lighting - i.e. the light sources that shouldn't technically be there but are because lightpathing - but with the coloring of ELFX?
I would like to THANKYOU BOTH I have hated the reddish overlay for every . This is in my opinion the best addition to any and all lighting set up no matter what your set is. I am using ( RS: Relighting Skyirm , ELE: Enhanced Lighting for ENB , ELFX: Enhanced Lights and FX ) with this mod last on my loas order. I LOVE THIS THANKYOU BOTH
Hi, if I'm using Relighting Skyrim and Ember HD (I don't know if Smoking Torches and Candles affects lighting), should I use the Skyrim is Lit Edition or the Bulbs Only version of it?
Is there any reason I shouldn't rename the esp files? So that I can tell at a glance whether I have the dimmer, recommended, or brighter versions currently installed?
