1) Open your eye file(.dds) that you wish to change the eyelash of 2) Open your this eyelash(or any eyelash you want) 3) Scale your eyelash to the size of the eye(512x512px) 4) Create new layer in your eye.dds file, copy the resized eyelash and paste it in the newly created layer in the eye file 5) Place the new eyelash more or less where the original eyelash resides(to manipulate the new eyelash only, make sure you have the new eyelash layer selected) 6) Select the base layer and use eraser to delete the old eyelash only(you can do it as soon as you open the eye folder, i just like to have it there so i can align my new eyelash with the old one) 7) Save as dds 8) Export menu shows up, pick BC7(linear/sRGB, DX11+), tick create mip Map checkbox(If you dont tick this checkbox, your eyelashes will have aliasing and probably other problems) 9) ??? 10) Profit
I think if you do this exactly like this there shouldn't be any problems occuring(didn't test this with vanilla eyes though, but it's the same)
It took me some time to figure this out, since i'm not keen in this stuff so i write it here in case some fellow noob-modder stumbles upon this problem too.
Assuming you know how to operate an image editor and where to locate any eye texture you're planning to modify.. https://78.media.tumblr.com/2423424bd5e89f95bc88a2b1272311a4/tumblr_p860zsN9qa1wutcr5o5_r1_1280.png
*THIS IS NOT MOD IT'S TEXTURE FILE AND YOU HAVE TO CONVERT FILES TO DX5 AKA DDS* And replace eyes texture (i suggest backup files before do it, sorry for cap text.)
thank you to user baddong that show how it's work (copy his link just in case.)

Fixed it in paint.net. Best lashes available as they do not cover the lid too much but rather go higher on the outer edges of the lid. Gorgeous!
Open eyes that you want to apply eyelash with an editor.
Paste the eyelashes on the alpha channel.
Save as DXT5
OK!"

I wonder if it's an oversight due to language divide..? They might not realize it's posted as a normie mod.
