Great mod! Although I find the face shockingly similar to Mr. Filch of Harry Potter, lmfao.

Do you fear giants? If so then pray that you never encounter an Ice titan as giants fear these goliaths themselves. If you have to fight one be quick as one hit will kill you. Lacerate the legs of this goliath and perhaps you will leave victorious. Thanks.

There's only one kind of Skyrim mod I love more than a monster mod. And that's an immersive monster mod. Before recently starting a new save, one of the things I wanted to do (wholly intending this time to play through on Master difficulty) was make the world of Skyrim significantly more challenging and daunting. I've played Skyrim since its original release in 2011, and one of the things you start to notice after you've been playing a while is that you start to memorize the combat routines of many of Skyrim's vanilla AI packages. While there are many mods out there that simply re-skin or re-texture existing creatures from the vanilla bestiary, sometimes having your battles in HD just isn't enough. Because when you memorize the way your enemies fight, you begin to lose the sense of fear, exhilaration, surprise, and sense of imminent danger that combat once held. And for me, that's an immersion killer.

Not so with Ice Titans. If you downloaded this mod or were thinking of downloading it thinking this might just be a feral-looking duplication of Skyrim's plainstriders/giants, you were mistaken.

For starters, the ice titans themselves (to my understanding, there are two varieties, regular and savage blood versions which are stronger) are visually terrifying. If I review this in a video sometime, I'll probably go back and measure, but I'm not actually sure if the ice titans are larger than normal giants, but I'm almost positive that they're significantly taller. The first time I encountered one, it was my first day in the Pale. Dawn was breaking, and because of a morning mist mod functioning in conjunction with Climates of Tamriel, the frozen tundra was veiled in a dense fog cutting down on visibility. Then a mountain walked out of the fog at me.

I'll admit I know very little about 3D modeling and that side of modding, but while the ice titans seem to behave and lumber about similarly to giants, they seem to have their own feral way of hulking about and lurching about threateningly as they literally annihilate anything in their path. The animations look great. No awkward animation looping anywhere. I don't know if it's his mod or one of mine but there were clouds forming in the cold air in front of its grizzly, gnarled maw.

These things are absurdly strong, and at low levels, you are going to need lots of help or you're going to turned into an ingredient in a titan cooking recipe in a single stomp of his foot. It takes a lot of damage to bring these guys down, but they are (logically) vulnerable to fire, something that, on harder levels of difficulty, may be a necessity early on if you seriously mean to contend against one of these brutes. My ONLY complaint would be the duration of the frost storm spell that seems to accompany his stomps. Because the stomp seems to cast the spell, the titan will run around trying to stomp you repeatedly, spawning several instances of the spell which, when they stack, becomes blinding and difficult to see or respond appropriately in battle.

I am going to endorse this mod and leave it installed throughout this new playthrough. The titans look great, they're purely terrifying not only to behold from a distance but to stand toe-to-toe in during a fight. Awesome job as always.

Hi, I really appreciate how impressive this creature is. The first time my party encountered one of these ice titans, it sprinted towards us and knocked Recorder (companion mod) out cold (courtesy of Better Knockouts). They sound and look very impressive.
I have an issue, though, which I hope you might have an answer to. I use Mod Organizer and try to install all of my mods through it. However, some mods install, register a successful install, and show up in the mods folder. Unfortunately, these select mods do not show up in either pane of Mod Organizer for activation and when I run the Skyrim Script Extender executable through Mod Organizer, these mods are not activated. I have to resort to dropping them in the Skyrim main folder to make them active. The downside of this is that Mod Organizer cannot regulate the proper load order of all mods thereby causing overhead contributing to lockups and crashes.
Your mods seem to fall into that category. I was wondering if anyone else has brought this to your attention and/or if you have heard of a solution. I just installed another companion mod through Mod Organizer and it showed up in left and right panes. Perhaps, I could can alter some file so Mod Organizer recognizes the mod. In any event, thank you for all of your artistry and effort.

Dude I F***ing love youre mods literally helps bring my world to life in the ways I orginally dreamt about in 2011

That being said I beg you to show a little more love to S.E players a little more as some of youre amazing mods haven't made their way over and that pains many of who have moved to S.E for the memory enchancments made in that version

I was just wondering by, tired and bleeding from skull fucking a frost dragon, when I encountered one of these fuckers somewhere in the mountains, nearby Mehrunes Dagon's shrine if I'm not mistaken. To put it simply, one of them fucking raped me with that oversized spiked dildo of his. I was wrecked to shit.

Loved it. Endorsed, and really hoping to see a Daedric titan or some gore titan in your next creation.
