Question is there a way to cast skins on other npcs. like ebony skin and the others? only reason i ask is cause the skins make my texture stand out more in ss. Thx in Advanc.
Probably not, I dont think I ever saved it as a preset (that outfit can't be use either) but there's like 10 high elf followers I'm working on coming in the future.
these spells feel pretty cool :3 but i have a question.. would you be able to combine or further tweak the effects of two vanilla spells, to make a third, unique one?
well i wanted to first turn the fire stream into plasma ( which i imagine it would be so hot that its blue and white), and then combine that with a lightning bolt spell, hopefully getting a fire/lightning spell that retains the fire stream while the lightning bit zaps the target. And of course, once the lightning bolt part finishes the zap, the fire bit also stops.
That would be the basic of the spell. the after-effect is the shockwave where the spell hits, or even, while it hits, from the caster, to the point the spell has hit. it doesn't have to mow people off, because i'm interested more in incinerating them. Not to ash, but to a burnt corpse, if that's possible.. oO
as for the name.. I'm torn between "Psionic Shockwave", and "Raw Magicka Shockwave"
That's beyond my range of abilities. Everything in this mod is a vanilla effect. i literally just copied the spell effects and set them to be castable on others instead of self (something Bethesda should have done and could have done in less than a few hours). The stuff you're talking about requires new art assets and scripts (i assume. I don't even know because it's not something I know much about). This mod is super basic creation kit stuff that anyone can do after watching a video tutorial on youtube.
Also, there are other mods that add blue flames. There's also a combo magic mod where if you cast different combos of vanilla spells they make new spells. i forgot the name but it was on the nexus last i checked years ago.
Just spreading a little awareness and reminding people. Problems never go away, no matter how much we stop hearing about them. It's also a dark humor bandaid that might help someone last a little longer until they get real help.
My main character uses Flame Cloak. I've been thinking of making a follower out of her, but wanted a way for her to use this spell. Now she can, so good job.
Depends on if I can do it and how much of a hassle it'd be. i will say though, everything I've done with this mod is likely the limit of what I can do because I can't script and I can't make crazy effects and spells that exist outside of the vanilla game. So like, I can't make buffs/functions that aren't already in the game.
As for requests for other mods, you can make the request, but if i don't have an interest, I probably wont do it at all because I don't have a ton of recreation time.
well the ideas i had were the ability to give others candlight, then you could also do mass buffs like you cast mass invisibility and everyone including you in an area around you turns invisible
You can give NPCs Candle light in the vanilla game actually. Just cast Mage Light (or whatever the projectile version is called) on them and it'll follow them around.
I don't really feel like doing aoe versions honestly. You can make all your followers invisible with EFF just by sneaking (the option is in the McM).
