    Anything wrong?
Why the Mo informed me  that I need "Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp"?

    Hi snbcj,
Any information or speculation on the compatibility of this mod with Requiem 4? Specifically 4.0.2?

If it is compatible, a quick update here would be nice. Your efforts are much appreciated.

SNBCJ,are you still working on your overhaul of 1.7?

And not to just come here to ask a single question I have a suggestion for R-CFD. Carry weight additions are plain and simple a pain in the ass.Eat a food and gain 15 carry weight, loot a bit more to capacity and then food buff wears off and your now having to throw loot away.

Is it intended that the recipe for Cooked Meat 'XFD_Cookpot_MeatCooked_Xarrian' overwrites the Requiem recipe for the Silver Tanto weapon? IMO a food mod probably shouldn't erase any weapon recipes.

While I did like the elswyer fondue change from 100% regen, it is still worth a moon sugar for that +50 magicka. Nice change.

On another note, I always noticed bestial stew (spriggan) restores 1% magicka for 3600 sec. It uses base game restore magicka effect, increasing magicka rate mult (same as mage robes's 100% mag regen iirc). Would be nice if it used the same magicka restore as elswyer fondue's, maybe a +2/sec to be strong as elswyer fondue (uses another rare/expensive alchemical ingredient. +3/sec would make it a 1 hour long magicka potion).

So glad potato bread still restores +1/sec. Its the most fun food to cook up, as the ingredients requires me to interact with farmer traders that Realistic trading stock mod adds. Feels good to RP.

Thank you for this amazing mod and liking the recent changes!

Good call on Bestial Stew (Spriggan). Will fix the intended Restore Magicka bug on the next update

Glad you're enjoying the potato bread, and appreciate your encouragement

Nice update on all fronts once again. Please keep up the good work.

On a side note, I was curious if a combat & magic rebalance was still in the works? I'm really looking forward to your take on magic schools... If not, understandable, your plate seems to be pretty full already.

Glad you're enjoying, and your feedback is a significant part of the improvements to these mods lately

The magic and combat rebalance is very much in the works, and is being directly built and integrated into the Requiem 1.51-1.7 polishing patch as I won't likely have the free time to do both separately in a reasonable time frame

    Hi SNBCJ,

I have just updated to the latest version of CFD (I was still using the version of the file called Food and Drug Rebalance, believe it or not). While I'm enjoying it thoroughly, I just wanted to mention a couple of things to you, regardless of what you decide to do about it, nothing is fine too of course.

The first thing is the Elsweyr fondue which now regenerates magicka out of combat instead of flat magicka recovery per second as it did before. I don't have anything at all against this change, but I just wanted to point out that it made tomato soups way worse than they were, indirectly of course, since you just won't benefit at all from the 25% magicka regen of tomato soups if you have an Elsweyr fondue active, because they now share the same effect, even though the Elsweyr fondue regen only kicks in outside of combat, so it's a bit of a bother not really being able to use both together when you have both available. If you take the tomato soup first then the fondue, the tomato soup effect will be overwritten, but only affect your character outside of combat, and if you take the fondue first, since the magnitude is higher, you just don't get themagicka regen effect from the tomato soup. Now maybe it's an intentional nerf, but if it is, I feel like it makes tomato soups just not really worth it anymore, at least for characters that invest into Alchemy because then mora topinella are a lot better used for potions IMHO. So I've reverted the change on the Elsweyr fondue for myself but anyway I just wanted to let you know how I viewed it, not necessarily asking for a change or anything.

The second thing is really more of an "issue" on my end rather than yours. But the combination of using an older version of Requiem (2.0.2 in my case) with the changes to stamina stews from recovery to regen make it so that the proper Requiem effect for stamina regen doesn't affect my character at all, a.k.a. no stamina drain from running while having a spiritedness effect on my character. Because that change is post 2.0.2, the fact that stamina stews only give a slight stamina regen while NOT removing the exhaustion from running like later Requiem versions do, make stamina stews really really bad for anyone not on Requiem 3.0+. But like I said, it's more of an issue on my end than anything, and I've again already reverted that change back to a flat stamina recovery effect. I just thought I'd mention it. It's probably not worth making a separate version for people who use a Requiem version prior to 3.0 for just 2 or 3 records changed but I just figured I'd mention it.

And I also just thought that a recipe to extract moon sugar from skooma would be absolutely amazing, if you feel like it's realistic enough and want to implement that and think it's a good idea and have enough time, etc etc. Just an idea.

I also added a second Elsweyr fondue recipe for myself, to be able to make fondues with goat cheese wheels instead of eidar cheese wheels. Because having the moon sugar and everything to make an Elsweyr fondue but lacking a cheese wheel is really frustrating. Again, just an idea... I've already done this for myself.

I've also just yesterday discovered a recipe at the tanning rack that I had no idea was in there (herbal compress) and I thought that was really really cool. So keep up the good work and I can't wait for any future plans on your part!

Appreciate your in depth feedback here as well FolkenNexus

The Elsweyr fondue and tomato soup change was intentional so that it gives benefit, but not in a way that will easily bypass the need for potions. Yes, mora topinella are intended to give more benefit in potions for PCs who invest in alchemy. With that said, I'm exploring giving a little more benefit to be an in between point between R-CFD as it currently is and base Requiem

I'm exploring tweaking the food stamina regen effect as well

Good call in extracting moon sugar from skooma, and expanding Elsweyr fondue to other cheeses

Glad you're enjoying the herbal compress. That's one of Xarrian's early implementations

Mod description says apple cabbage, vegetable soups restore 1 stam per sec, but TES5Edit and ingame fortifies by 20% with no mod conflicts. Were the changed? Didnt see any change in changelog.

While we're there, can the effect be changed to be the same as the stamina regen enchantment? At least that way, it would help with physical exertion while running. I mean , I love that soups ain't op anymore, but right now, soups have no effect unless you stand still doing nothing, and that will never happen in combat.

Food based Spiritedness increases in R-FDR use the exact same effect type as base Requiem enchantments for Spiritedness/Stamina Regen. All of them scale with how much stamina a PC has, so you won't notice as much of a difference until progressing some in the game, though it also makes food continue to be valuable as a PC levels up

Can someone explain the alcohol effects? ie. Alto Wine (Good): 20 gold, +20%/-150% alcohol buff/debuff. In game it says +20%stam regen buff and -150% stam regen debuff and double that for magicka regen. So is that a -130% stam regen debuff??

Pretty sure something is overwriting the R-CFD alcohol effects in your load order

Are you still finding that if you load this mod last in your load order - including after "Requiem for the Indifferent.esp" (if using post Requiem 1.7) so reqtificator won't potentially try to combine aspects from different mods to overwrite R-CFD records?

I figured it out taking a look in xEdit. For alcohol, there are two effects. They have XFD Alcohol effect which increases stamina regen but under it there is the REQ Alcohol "Inebriation" effect which decreased both stamina regen and double for magicka. Seems like there should be another XFD magic effect there instead of the REQ one.

Hey Sn, I noticed that Mudcrab Legs are not treated as a raw meat at least according to the description. They are basically better Mudcrab Meats right now fivefold without the need to cook them.

Edit:Actually cooking the legs makes them worse:/ Less attributes restored for 8 CW.

Appreciate your feedback Johito. (Raw) Mudcrab meat being safe to eat for all PCs is a holdover from Xarrian's food dynamics, though it should probably require a strong stomach for consistency sake

Less attributes and only 8 CW? Sounds like something is overwriting my mod values. (Raw) Mudcrab legs should be 0.25 weight with +50 S/M if PC has a strong stomach (or -100 S/M if not), and Gourmet Mudcrab Legs at 0.4 CW with +80 S/M as well as +10 CW and Flamebane for an Earth hour
