I've been using this set in Skyrim SE to create ruins in an underwater realm, but as some have already indicated, the LOD files seem to be missing. Is there a way to generate them myself, or is there a different set that could be used that fixes any issues in this set? Any advice is highly appreciated.
In case anyone is interested, Jim, the author of the Rigmor mod trilogy, helped me out. If you don't have the time or talent to create you own LOD meshes, you can define each component as full LOD. You do that by placing each component where you want it in the CK's render window, then double-click the component (still in the render window). In the Reference window that pops up, check the box "Is Full LOD" at the bottom right. Since the ruins kit doesn't have too many polygons, this should work without causing issues. At least it didn't in my case.
This is a long shot, but if anyone ever happens to spot any modders resources that are similar to this one--but for Anvil and Bruma--please send me a PM.
I'm playing around with a time travel sequence hearkening back to the time of Oblivion, but whether or not I attempt to implement it is going to depend on the availability of the building assets. Using Skyrim's default building kits in this case would just feel wrong.
And before anyone tells me to just use Beyond Skyrim: Bruma's assets, that will not do. I have checked their permissions, and the only way I could utilize their work was if I was going to make Bruma a required file for my mod. I cannot in good conscience force people to download or keep installed such a massive mod for the sake of some resources--I have already decided to go in a different direction with the Cyrodilic clothing because of this. So if anyone spots any building resources like I mentioned above, please let me know.
Republic of Maslea have resources adequate for Anvil. The problem is that some textures are bugged and can cause crashes. Just a matter of changing them in Nifskope.
Do anyone happens to have the argate01.dds and argate01_n.dds files?
I found missing pieces from this kit in the recent released "Falmeri" kit for SSE. But, I don't have the textures. I made a new one using GIMP, but the results weren't good (got a white contour on the details), so I'm asking if someone have the originals.
Now that Beyond Skyrim is officially dropping support for original skyrim and only support SE and AE, I think the time is now to release the cleaned up + LOD file version of this mod. Would be a great boon for modders out here holding off on Ayleid content.
I wish you guys would cheek on your mod page a little more. It's been 2 years since an update to this set. I've been working with this set to fix the big mistakes within them. I have been working on the Uv for the meshes now since it was never done properly for any of the ayleid texture sets to fit the meshes. This set has a lot of problems I've been fixing and should have been fixed before they were even released in the bruma mod... Please get back to me... I would like to know if I can continue to fix the meshes and then upload my fixed set? Been wanting my own ayleid set to mess around with. Thanks for your time...

Thanks very much for the tip, Wolfstorm. I'll be sure to look into this more once my computer is restored to health.
