    Great idea to return trapped chests.
    I have two questions, why Dwaren have low 14% chance? And how mods works with LockBash and Open spell mods?

      I thought Dwaren relied more on technology than on magic. Therefore, I did not begin to exhibit a more probability of a trap.

      LockBash and Open spell mods - technical compatible.

      The trap will trigger on the one who "activated" the chest

      If you do, instead of a fixed damage, maybe could be better by a percentile. Ex: 20%/40%/60% of player max health. In this way, could kill you but not 1KO you, on low levels (on high level never will this way).

      Now in the mod the damage taken will decrease depending on your resistance. If in mod be a %-damage then the number of damage taken will increase with the character level. And your resistance will not matter.

      I do not know the way it work, so an hybrid version where resistence plus a random value maybe is impossible. So far is a good concept. And the best is to keep it simple.

    Is there any way to detect these traps? The first thing that comes to mind is a possible spell like what they've done here

      No. The trap is installed randomly, depending on the probability. Maybe I'll add spell detection of trap ... someday ...in the future...

    in your demo video, that guy was one hit KO. I love that you have a Requiem version, but since you know Requiem I'd assume you know how difficult it is. HOw powerful are these traps, and is there a way to protect ourselves from them?

      You can improve your lockpicking skill. Or improve dodge skill (light armor). Or raise resistance to fire / cold / electricity / poison.
      All the traps in this mod divided into three types: easy (60 damage), medium (120 damage) and difficult (240 damage). The power of the traps is random.
