Um... Orichalcum is supposed to be a hard inflexible and messy metal so it would be fairly unsiutable for crossbows.

    Still a good mod.

You could make an alloy with orichalcum. That would sort of explain it away.

Ah, I didn't know much about the lore of Orcichalcum, based the main texture on the RL stuff.
Wanted it to fit in with Orc Bow & have hints of the other Orc weapons in its design

@Jeb Then why is there an orcish bow that requires orichalcum in skyrim? Most metals used in armour and weapon smithing irl are "hard" With the exception of bronze which is "soft" Keep in mind that a metals softness only represents it's tendency to either bend or break softer metals such as Bronze for example are more likely to bend under pressure than shatter. This means they can be hammered into shape and repaired easily. There is a reason bronze is the eternal metal after all it can exist for millennia. Where as exceptionally hard metals such as cast iron and untreated high carbon steel are more likely to chip and or shatter. There are exceptions however treated carbon steel modernly called spring steel the steel used in good swords and steel crossbow limbs is made to flex it bends under pressure but then flexes back into its smithed shape. Daggers maces and axe heads however are better if made out of high carbon treated steel since their shortness makes them unlikely to break and their hardness is useful. The orcs being skilled craftsman probably use a similar treatment for orichalcum. If they didn't their swords would be garbage.

Looks Marvelous! definetly trying this out. would be nice to see same kind of variation (mix of wood and metal instead of being completely crafted out of one material.) of original bow's.

Ty, I thought having a few different materials would help brake things up

Agreed, crossbows are really lacking in variety.
