About this mod

My own version of NLA

Permissions and credits

In 2014, Confidence Man released NLA and to this day it remains the standard in replicating visual realism. It's influence spread throughout Skyrim and beyond, where a multitude of preset creators, lighting designers, and game studios followed its ethos, and It's fair to say NLA is the most important ENB preset of its generation.

I fell in love with this preset and have used it exclusively since its inception.  It wasn't long before I noticed things I wanted to change and after countless tweaks and edits, I finally have a version I'm happy to share.   I wanted to hark back to the vanilla feel of misty days, foggy mountains and rich atmospheres, whilst retaining the clarity of NLA and the best way I can describe my preset is like a misty NLA. It's my perfect preset and its how I feel Skyrim should have looked at release.

Installation

Install the NLA.esp plugin via mod organizer/vortex etc. Everything else goes in the main game folder (where tesv.exe is located)

Install enbhost.exe and d3d.dll from enbdev.com.

INI Settings

Compulsory edits >
SkyrimPrefs.ini
bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1
bDeferredShadows=1

Compatibility:
NLA K747 already contains Tapioks enhanced shaders. I use this with ELFX and the Enhancer so if you find the interior brightness is not to your taste then you can edit the brightness directly by going into the ENB GUI window, then in the SHADERS tab edit enbeffect.fx for brightness and gamma. You can also set your nighttime brightness in here as well

Credits to Confidence Man for NLA and Tapioks for the Enhanced NLA shaders
