I've been using this mod for years. It was working just fine recently, but suddenly the chests have despawned in all my homes. Now I've lost everything. Will reloading the mod work? I don't want to uninstall it unless I have no other choice.
Old save files don't work. My saves are ruined.
EDIT: I reinstalled the mod. Now some of the chests are spawning again, but they're empty.
Old saves work fine. HOWEVER, recent saves have empty chests. The mod must have failed some time last week. And now I've been set back to that time. Solitude's house still won't load a chest, too.
why use so old mod? 2012 mods are famous to bloat saves or do opposite things that it supposed to do... Only install 2012 mod that have updated for 2014, 2015, never use 2012 abandonned mods. Nexus should cancel old mods download.
i put everything in thie chest, and made a new character. but the chest is empty? then i made another new character the chest weren't even there T_T help please
If this doesn't work I made my own mod esentially doing the same as this. Mine replaces existing playerchests (but without item loss or "empty" chests) in the home and uses another mesh to make that more clear. Mine also supports dragonborn and hearthfire.
So if anyone wants it pm me in case this one doesnt work.
I have used this for a while and it is really useful. However, I could do with a version that extends to new, modded homes. This does seem to be drifting out of date. Perhaps the author can come back to modify it, or does anyone know of another solution like this?
is this mod still supported ? generally, i always asked myself why nobody in offline games does Banks like in onlinegames, enabling acces to items storaged there from each town. so this mod will do that if it works correct. i will test it.

This one had the similar function and it using light scripts that would not hurt your save or crash your game.
All your item stored in home chests used this mod should be shareble and safely stored if you followed my installation instructions.

heh....allow the player to use the chest to travel to any other player owned home???
I can imagine dovahkiin opening it and swan diving into it and being flung out the other side.

this mod adds an enderchest to each player owned house...
Allowing you to access items in this enderchest in each player owned house.
They don't carry over though different player saves..
Theres a chest put into each player ownable house each one is linked together allowing you to access these items at each player ownable house.
