   I’ve been looking for something like this for SE.  Any chance you could port it over or allow someone to do it?

      Works fine on SE as is. 
      
      I realize this is a necro post, but I'm not going to let what's "proper" get in the way of answering a question that's been left unanswered when  that lack of an answer could keep people from using this mod.

   Could you at least make the display object firewood instead of elven boots? Or is this a vanilla issue with sawn logs?

      Vanilla issue and it doesn't really seem too important considering once you craft them it acts the same way as purchasing them normally. They don't show up in your inventory and are stored wherever they would be stored same as if you'd bought them.

      Regardless, the model should be changed. Also, why a tanning rack for the conversion? Should be the sawmill...
