    ok so v1.5.0 will be the first and last version of the patrolling Wolves.

    They were cool at first and i thought i could manage them but with the wolves avoidance AI and the guards avoidance AI its causing constant immersion breaks and im not dealing with it any more. iv invested too much time attempting to correct it with no notable results and im over it.

    im letting the guards keep the Jaws of Solitude spell to summon the wolves though because it offers the same effect without the AI issues.

    Still going to make a kennel though where you can buy them like horses or something like that once you have solitude fame. still thinking it over.

    im disappointed but it was worth a shot and i learned something so its not a loss.

    I like this addition to the vanilla Solitude Docks!
    This makes this area livable for me instead of buying property in Solitude.
    Maybe, I set up camp nearby and hang out at the Salty Spriggan in between quests.
    Great looking mod! Seems like you put so much into this too! Thank you for sharing!

      the new one will look so much better. iv just been devoting all my time to Conan. its just once i get stuck on something i have to step back for a bit and cool off or i get upset and i wont work on it at all any more. i think once i get Valeria's sword done and get her started in CK i can jump back and forth from the docks to Conan.. i just knew that Wheel of pain would be hard for me and i had to see it through.. i really do feel like a stack of bricks has been lifted and it was a bitter sweet shove back into the swing of things but i have a better eye and hand this time.

      that was not supposed to be left in there.. i just tossed it in my ESP because at that time i lived at the docks..

    This mod has had a bug for a long time and honestly my inability to fix it kinda killed my motivation to keep working on it for a long time

    If you spend any time at all on the docks ( I live there in game) lol. You will know that the mountains to the west and water to the east under the solitude archway just don't render. It's been this way for a long time and it's always been a sore issue for me. Like a wound that won't heal.

    K so. This happened when I tried to make the skyrim map show the new layout of the docks as I moved the ships around and added the spring an.

    Doing that I layer learned it can be a huge conflict for people hat have custom LOD. It was only after I did it that I found out what an issue it can be.

    Finding a fix for the chunks that were failing to render has been next to impossible. But a few people have had similar issues with other mods.

    The only working answer "remove the mod causing it" and I'm sure some of you did that with the docks for this reason.

    Well spending.... Countless hours searching and testing/editing with TES5 EDIT I have found part of the issue. It's about 90% fixed. All of the LOD and chunks are rendering now in every cell except 2 and I'm getting to them.

    When I'm don't all the mountains and water will be rendering properly at the docks and there will be an update with more dock add-ons.

    One notable feature is the blacked out windows in the East Empire Co warehouse. You can now see through them.

    I took that building all the way back to blender and even made new collision for it so you can even shoot arrows and cast spells through the windows. Pointless to most I'm sure but I take a lot of pride so something like that is huge to me.

    Anyways yeah new update soon. Super excited

    No no no no NO!. i lost all my work. last i left off i was trying to fix my nightmare of a navmesh. i had so much more Content.

    Solved] for anyone that may have this issue in the future.

    Open the Esp in TES 5 Edit navigate to the cell where the distant LOD fails to render.

    Example:
    Example.esp
      Workspace
        0000003C
          Block -1, 0
            Sub-Block -2, 2
              000092BC Solitude Docks 

    This would be Tamriel -16, 23

    All you need to do is select this cell
    Then in the drop down list on the right look for
    TVDT - Occlusion Data 
    Make sure this string match's Skyrim.Esm

    Do this for all cells that fail to load chunks of LOD when standing in them and it will correct the rendering.

    4 day trial and error and it was right there in front of me the whole time. The pay off is worth the headache.

    Hey guys, this was a bit of a cold project for a while. Real life happens and I'm just now getting back into modding. I kinda got discovered in a way I was asked to do some 3d assets for a game. Using ck to to add stuff to an existing game in this instance Skyrim is one thing but what I really do is make mesh's and textures. I'm fairly decent with Nif work too oblivion fallout NV and Skyrim are what I work with 90% of the time. I was working with foreign software and serious engine. It was a whole new learning curve and totally foreign to me. Anyways yeah I'm back restarting my work on the docks. Lol when I left off I didn't even get to the wind helm side of the upstairs. Fresh ideas fresh inspiration and a new angle or 2 going forward, taking a look around at what I already have done there's really not much I want to change as far as work I have already done stepping back and going forward as if it were someone else's work. I like it but it's still so empty... Plenty of work ahead. It is officially WIP again. Try for the DLs endos and comments. <3

    I love your interpretation of the Solitude docks! I'm making a mod similar myself; and it's great see other people's interpretations.

    Hello. This looks interesting. (^~^) I love the creativity with the NPCs and their stories. I may be able to help with dialogue if you'd like. I've done a custom voiced follower before. AI though... I only know how to add idles pretty much. XP Can always learn more tho. But I know plenty of resources for voice files and can edit them for you. Cheers~!

    Hey guys IV been giving this a lot of thought and I made my decision.

    After I finish getting the docks Deco also the inside of the spriggan, I will be working on the Grotto.. After that I'm driving into AI and dialog.

    I'm going to be making my 1982 Conan a follower as part of the docks.

    I never finished him. But i will. I may have to make the Docks an ESM to do it. Anyways Conan will be making a come back.
