I know this mod in dead, but in case someone with slightly more modding experience than me sees this: the collision boxes on the Bigger Falkreath Trees, and presumably also Snowy Trees, could use some refinement. Righ now you can walk into them.
I didn't found any unmatchings with snowy trees (because LVT changes only snow on branches, trunks are unchanged), but Falkreath trees definitely have problems with collisions.
P.S. uploaded fixed meshes for Falkreath's big trees here
Great mod for vanilla trees fans! After some testing i can tell: - it's fully compatible with Skyrim Bigger Trees mod (except Falkreath's big trees optional plugin i think; i recommend to use it with DynDOLOD; Lite version have most vanilla+ look) - it's compatible with Tree Branches 2K if you let it overwrite LVT files (i recommend to cut files treepineforestbranchcompsnow.dds, treepineforestbranchcompsnowl.dds and treepineforestbranchcompsnowl_n.dds from LVT folder (in Mod Organizer) to new empty mod folder with overwriting Tree Branches files, because they have different texture than Tree Branches mod) - it's fully compatible with Spooknik's Tundra Trees without any conflicts - it's fully compatible with Realistic Aspen Trees (because aspens didn't changed in LVT)
P.S. i also recommend to reduce lights to -50 in treepineforestbranchcompsnow.dds and treepineforestbranchcompsnowl.dds textures via Paint.net (save in BC3-DXT5). Especially if you play without ENB.
The trees look fantastic! I have some trouble with generating the tree lod though. When running dyndolod, it told me there were no billboards installed (even though I picked the option in LVT setup). So I installed indistinguishable billboards first, then let LVT override it. Still getting those ugly low-res 2D tree billboards in game. Any thoughts?
Here's me late to the party. Follow instructions for DynDOLOD\Docs\trees.ultra. The ones included with this mod are for that setup only. DynDOLOD will not recognize these hybrid X-shaped ones for the standard flat LOD generation. Static4, Billboard2, Billboard2 for trees instead of Static4, Billboard, Billboard
Better late than never, but the billboards use DynDOLOD's textures. You can always use NifSkope to look at ShaderTextureSet to see what texture any mesh will use, and change it. I recommend either keeping an actual note on the exact original texture path or copy a backup of the original to put back into place if things don't work the way you want.
Im on sse, if i wanna generate my lods with sselodgen, do i need Indistinguishable Billboards for Skyrim SE ? or i just need your billboards?
Edit: Tried to generate the lods with or without, cant say the difference. I think the lods doesnt match really well on se, especially the barks, too bright imo. (i don't use any weather mods or enbs). Maybe i did something wrong ehm..
The last time I ran LODs, I used Static4, Billboard 3, Billboard 3. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, read up on Ultra.tree in the Doc folder in DynDOLOD.
Everyone has their preferences :D I chose this one because it has larger trees option in Falkreath and the snowpacked trees are a good middle ground between vert's snowy and vanilla. I also like the fact that I don't need to actually use indistinguishable or any other billboards because Spooknik already took care of that. With these in an ultra.trees DynDOLOD build, billboard3 all the way across now, it actually looks fantastic and doesn't take a performance hit. I personally don't get weird trunks in my game, but I don't think any of us have exactly the same load order XD

I also posted this in the SE version.

Still getting flat models. Do I have to do anything else?
EDIT: NVM.. I decided to just use the full model by setting "TreeFullFallBack=0"
Edit: It works. Thank you for sharing your work. Endorsed!

Big thanks for the provided billboards for DynDOLOD and LODGen, too.
