It works on a special edition. I had a problem with SL Drunk. There's actually a funny, but buggy mod. It was necessary to do as the author says, enter his ID form and everything became gorgeous.
for those curious, this does work on special edition. download, unzip, locate the file DG HF DB and copy the earase-imods.txt file and paste it into your special edition install folder(not the data folder). fire up skyrim SE, pull up the console and type the command as stated in the description. the load order for the dlc in special edition is dawn guard, hearth fire and dragon born. worked perfect for me after i got a blurry screen from eating ingredients that never went away.
For some reason my imagespace weirdness is really persistent, using your rimod batch file removes the annoying effect and everything starts to look normal but only for a second or two before it comes back. :(
It sounds like you have some kind of effect on your character that is reapplying the imagespace. I'm not sure what it would be; if you can install mods, try installing MFG Console and using it to view all the active effects on the character. It'll even show the ones that are hidden from the regular in-game menu. Maybe that will help you find the source of the imagespace and a way to turn it off for good.
I'm having the same issue and did what you said found no active effects that would be causing this. Loaded a save from before this issue happened compared the active effects from before and after and there's no difference got no clue whats going on.
I've recently noticed the same issue on my save. In my case, I've narrowed it down to an imod called DLC2MiraakTeIeportIMODStatic (ID: xx0317D8). Removing it fixes the screen, but for some reason it's stuck triggering every two seconds. The only relevant discussion I have found online never came to a solution.
Thankyou so much for this information, like many others apparently, I recently got stuck with this issue in my game, and as you said, sisme was working as a fix, but that 'solution' then removed any way of seeing other effects (like night vision, which was driving me nuts). I could get by with sisme for a bit, but once I hit the stage in my game where I was becoming a werewolf and now entering the dawnguard questline, I knew I needed a proper fix for this.
I had no idea how to even begin resolving this issue, and although your scripts didn't even remotely help me - YOUR solution is exactly what I needed, I just needed to apply it to a different mod. I'm guessing I had a script missfire due to lag or whatever at some point and it didn't completely remove the effect. I never ran into this issue before, but this is a gem of a fix that I will never forget - You turned my somewhat unplayable game which I was beginning to seriously reconsider starting over with to making it a functional game again. My character may be the dragonborn in this game, but the true hero on this play thru is you my friend.
tldr; Thankyou for posting this, it was driving me nuts.
Hey, I also encounter same problems even though i used the mod. For my game, I have around 100s mods so can you explain me how you solve through TESedit for your mods? I am not sure which formid i supposed to run with. The instruction give by the modder is too vague for me. I will appreciate it if you can explain the details.
If you need a solution that covers mods (or other games) too, have a look at my xEdit script for it [here], which automatically generates a batch file customized for your current load order.
Being a total noob to modding... this method was intimidating to me, especially the load order warning. I also didn't want to try it since I play special edition exclusively (I need the stability and better memory use of 64 bit). But, finding this solution thru google of all places taught me about sisme 0 in the console and using that as a test to figure out that my problem was imagespace modifiers. Using the info gained from here, I was able to find a similar solution for SSE that was slightly less intimidating. That might just be my perception tho because I was getting so desperate at that point lol. For anyone wanting to to fix imods in SSE, try here. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29360
That mod prevents radial blurs in imagespace effects from ever occurring after the mod is installed. This mod allows radial blurs to occur and can be used to reset imagespace effects (all of them, not just radial blurs) if they get stuck on your screen instead of being temporary as they should. Also, this mod does not take up an ESP file slot as it is a batch file. Both mods are limited to vanilla and DLCs, neither covers other mods that might add new radial blurs.
