Absolutely love this mod! (A patch found in the "lab" makes it SE compatible btw.)

    But i have a question:
Is there a way to make the backpack a bit lighter by a percentage than the sum of the content? I would like to have the effect that on the back, things are easier to carry.
    Thank you!

Here you go, bud, the patch to make Backpack Containers play nice with Skyrim SE. It's located in the more... exotic places in Skyrim modding.

One of my new favorite mods, using in SSE after a quick resave in the CK, thanks. Question though, does the backpack have a max capacity or is it infinite? Either way it would still be balanced because of the player's max carry weight but just for the sake of knowing.

Yeah found it today, and it looks really impressive. Indescribably more impressive-looking than the SSE alternative. Looking forward to playing, hoping it'll mesh well with Cobb Encumbrance and Cardio SE

[Edit] Best Minimod Ever. To reply to the original post: FYI The backpack is simply a carry weight enchantment. It's capacity as a container is infinite. To upgrade to SSE, just use the file from LL. Or resave it to form 44 in the CK, look up "How to port mods for dummies". Author has not released permissions to update to SSE, and likely never will.

I'd love to know how to do this, :-( Are you able to port this to SE?? I had it working in my game but it is now broken and I'm sure it's just due to the fact that it's not made for SE

Actually I managed to do it, just like you said, load up the esp and save - it even gets an skse menu which is nice. Will the author allow anyone to port it for him?

Testing with Requiem 3.3, using a target mass effect number of 100.

(A.) Using the backpack as normal, results as... well, normal.
(B.) Dropping backpack, filling with items, picking up backpack; drastic increase to mass effect; 253. Each unit of weight easily increases spell costs by 50 points alongside movement speed reduction and increased stamina costs.
(C.) Do (B), drop backpack. Mass effect returns to normal rate of 100.
(D.) Dropping backpack, filling with items, removing all items, picking up backpack; mass effect 100.
(E.) Do (B), run Requiem's developer debug to reset mass effect. Mass effect returns to normal rate of 100 (with backpack equipped.)
(F.) Do (B), save and reload game. Mass effect 253 but no change.
(G.) Do (B), save and quit. Relaunch Skyrim, Mass effect 845. Dropping backpack reduces mass effect to 623. Opening perk menu, dropping all items to 0 weight, etc, did not fix mass effect. Running debug to reset mass effect caused CTD.

So as previously noted by a user, while the mod can be used with Requiem, wearing the backpack while it contains items comes with limitations (which is perfectly justified but the numerical value seems unrealistically high) and there is a critical danger inherent to saving and loading while wearing a backpack full of items.

Best used as placeable storage, sadly, and reverted to vanilla function when travelling.

If only there would be a feature that can directly store items you pick into the backpack, or sell those items directly from the backpack to merchant.

This is a very good mod, but a lot of the pictures combined with the ax on the back pack make the backpack itself look like an adventurer, which I have found hilarious, because I have a fever. Thank you for the mod and the incoherent giggling.

    I have problem using this.
I don't see it in MCM.
I only have the camping menu and menus of other mods.
The instructions talk about "start mod" button, but I have no idea where I can find it.
    Am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone tell me where to find/get the bucket on the backpack?

Edit: Never mind. Found out it was called ‘cooking pot’.

This mod is amazing and makes for such good gameplay.

I set the carry weight to it to +200 in xEdit, but -10 to stamina regen and -100 to stamina (MCM options for this type of customization would be mint, but doing it in xEdit is super easy). I also lowered my character's carry weight to 50 pounds, so you rely on perks to wear full sets of heavy armor and cannot carry a lot of gear with out the bag

So it is now necessary to pay attention to what is going on, and put bag down when I know there will be a fight so stamina is not trashed... Love it, it makes ESV feel so much better

Thanks for this excellent mod and hope you have an awesome 2020!
