When I download this mod for SSE and equip the tail armor, it shows as grey and meshless, is there a way to fix this? It's the only mod with Nightingale tail armor and I'd really like to use it in my game. This happens when I both manually install and install via vortex. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.
The Nightingale Tail armor seems to be the only one affected for me in Special Edition. Maybe it just didn't have a texture included when it was still being supported? It might just need to be pointed to the right texture set in CreationKit64.
That mesh causes an endless loading loop when trying to view it in CK64 so it is safe to say that even the optimized version of it has a few problems.Now to test it in Outfit Studio. The whole tail has an armor texture in OS2. Maybe it needs to have the texture set redirect removed from the plug-in?

I'm new to modding I only got the rings to work but never figured out how the tail textures work. I used xtexconv for the textures and nifskope for the meshes to update the tail but I'm still getting a grey texture for the DDS file tails. Do you still have a file that is compatible with SSE?
So I am using the Ohmes-Raht race (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6461), which is basically a Bosmer head on a Khajiit body. I have downloaded this mod and a digitigrade and both don't affect my character's model . So, I'm assuming that the khajiit body isn't being registered or something? Can someone help?

Hi. I've been using this mod for a while now and it has worked very well, the armors look nice and help add a bi of immersion to the game.
However I found a strange glitch(?) For some reason after loading a save the tail armor changed its SKYUI icon from torso to this gray shield thing and then a ring. Equipping doesn't seem to work as the armor never appears on the body. I saved my game, reinstalled the mod, saved again and reinstalled from a fresh download. This works for a split second as the armor appears as "torso" armor and is visible on thee body. As soon as i exit the inventory menu the bug happens again.
It doesn't matter what save I load it just keeps happening. I did ot chnge my load order between sessions I'm using Mod Organiser if that helps. I'll be very grateful for any help anybody can provide.
Ok nevermind. I just booted the game up and it seems to have fixed itself. Still: If anybody has any idea on what could be the cause please share so we may reproduce these results and so that it may be patched.
Love this mod! Please could you add full Dragonplate tails, Dragonscale tails, and also some versions to match with the Ebonsteel Dragon armour variants?
In case anyone's wondering, you can use this mod for Khajiit companions, even if your own character isn't Khajiit. My character is a Breton, and I crafted the ebony tail armor for Inigo, gave it to him, and it works great! Could have sworn someone else commented, asking if it worked for companions, but now I can't find that comment in order to reply to it, so here we are. *shrug*
would you be willing to make a guild master version? i dont like the look of nightingale because it hides mah face. suppose i could just mod the mask off.
