The idea of creating Lillehjem was challenging myself to come up with something not too big and yet able to provide some degree of utility, and at the same time apply a few tricks I learned in previous mods, all that culminating in Peregrine Highwatch HFX. I also asked myself, "Why not make a home mod that fits the character?" In my case it's my current playthrough character, a teenage rogue who wanted simple living in the form of a small cottage instead of a palatial mansion or a castle; she also wanted accessible storage, as well as warm creature comforts. She also wanted a great vista that she can gaze to the horizon while sipping on her morning tea or a tankard of wine under a starry sky.
The other challenge is finding balance, like having some good things without going overboard: I don't want to drop in a smelter, a giant armory, or anything like that spells "bigger", preferring such features to be used in Peregrine Highwatch, but instead I set limits to what's possible with the mod, and within the bounds of what my character could afford or be able to do with the available knowledge she has.
This became my favourite player home. Everything is cared in the minimal detail and it's so small yet functional and aside from a little stutter on stairs didn't present problems moving into. Also, looks great with tethra enb which I'm currently using. Great work, hope you' ll release more gems like this :D And thank you for this one :D my dream home realized flawlessly
1. Open object in NifSkope 2. Expand "NiNode" 3. Expand "NiTriShape" 4. Click BSLightingShader 5. On the bottom of the screen, you'll see some options... Find "Specular" and change the value from 1.0 to 0.1 (double click to change) 6. Do this for each part of the object if there is more than one (repeat steps 2-5) 7. Save and overwrite (to quickly and easily save, use hotkey CTRL+S)
For some reason a majority of the items from that resource pack are plagued with it. Doing that fix above for each item (I know, tedious) will fix the shine. I did it for the same exact items.
my first player home mod download! i love it! i feel it increases immersion with all the visibly marked potion, poison and stuff sorting. like a very real home and super great location. love it in every way even the jumping stairs which look really good lol. and soooo much storage in a tiny cottage. are you an interior designer? perfect for my female character.
Thanks again sa547, it is indeed very nice work. I'm probably going to customize it a bit to accomodate a follower and drop a smelter somewhere outside. LOL, Serana trapped me between the table and alchemy station. Endorsed
This does indeed look quite cozy. I do player homes as well, but mine are on the "rather large" size. I was working on a small player home, but just couldn't do it. There is a certain skill in making small player homes. One skill that I just don't have. Anyway, will download and endorse. Thanks much sa547 :-)

Hope this helps <3
Thought I'd share a couple of screenshots.
I really appreciate your houses and I use them quite a bit-- in particular Warmstone.
It'll be like me living inside my own head.
