Hey man , I really love ur mod it's amazing , one of my favorite mods ever in skyrim , are you planing on adding npc's to it too cause it just feels empty being alone there
thank you! and I know people have always wanted npc's but that presents many problems. First of all how would I cloth them? I only have female clothes that are Egyptian styles and those are all modified by me and belong to other modders. Realistic clothes for males would be impossible to acquire. Also I don't know how to do custom npc's and I dont have the time to learn lol.
You could just have Redguards wear their regular armor I guess and have them equip Egyptian weapons perhaps. I mean Redguards are the desert people. It makes sense for them to guard a palace of a great Pharaoh. As for females, since you got the clothing, that's good, just add them in if you can.
There is a guy who made a Gold Armory on Nexus. I got it because it really fits the environment the armor is (Really Gold texture, close to what you are using) fits male and female two sets Golden Steel and Golden Ebony with Weapons to match. You should talk to other Modders to help populate the area I am sure some would volunteer. I have made Mod Followers before so I could help as well.
This looks sweet, can't wait to check it out! Have a thing for this sort of stuff, kind of an Ancient Egytophile too. Like that put in Greek City. Doing a sort of side-car knockoff of a steampunk Tomb Raider and a few other things rolled into one (with limited success). This just ranked the ratio in my favor though.
Since I'm late to party I would only add that many [required] models can be gotten online for free. A recent web search (not Google) for "skyrim egypt", revealed a nice stash of female eqyptian wear, along with this "G.E.M.'. (For now, You could contact the author, PM me for detailed url). I looked at your other mods, they should be at least BHUUNP, will convert myself if time permits, will let you know when/if I do. Also, not sure of availability but think the Daz store has much in the way of Egyptian/Greek stuffs, mostly free IIRC. Meanwhile, men can wear hide/greek armors and such, everyone just has to be sweeping a lot. (See below).
My only real caveat on a once over is its really just so... clean! (Just a little out of step with the entire Bethesda universe). Grime, Dust, Fog, flaws nicks and cuts, (Never thought i'd miss it). Would be cool to have a before and after, like a flashback thing, but alas, that's so many layers...

I have see this Mod on YouTube and it looks like Great. But when i will go in the Place i have no Ground, Walls und Structures. must i change my Graphics?
the place is really fantastic, spectacular, an exquisite work, but bland.This place lacks "life" There is not a soul, it needs characters, npc's ....... some mission ...
Yea thanks but you have to understand that people that make mods have their own reasons for making them. I don't have to cater to people who want npc's and missions because I have no desire to create them. So sorry but thats just kinda how it works. Glad u kind of enjoyed it tho lol.
This is AMAZING! I was wondering what all weapons/armor is there to find? I know there's a few bows, 2 swords, and the crown of nefertiti. I was really hoping to find some armor, am I missing anything? lol
Finally got to try this mod. Been planning on it for a long time, just never had the time. I love it. The dungeon designs were cool too. Not too much of a maze but great atmosphere (just the way I like it). So much to explore.
The only bug I encountered was a wall in the delphi section where you could fall into a small crack and get stuck. Had to use TLC command to get out. But not worth a fix because there's no reason to actually get so close to the wall, so I doubt anyone else will find it without them looking for it on purpose.
I do kind of wish the place was a bit populated. It feels very empty without people, even bland NPCs with no dialogue would be kind of nice.
thanks. looking back this mod feels really primitive and simple. I have since made some great progress on a new mod and hope to get it released sometime.
I'm looking forward too it. BTW, is there an easy way to swap songs for a particular area without using creation kit or anything? Like replacing a song with a different one of the same name and file type?
I feel like the Pillar Men theme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure would do well when first entering the Egyptian area lol.
Or maybe if you ever do an Aztec style place I'll do it then. ^-^
yea just replace any wav file you like and name it exactly the same as the file you are trying to replace and it will work. most likely will need to be a WAV file to work. I just used a free wav converter i found on google.
