I really like the mod and I like mods in Skyrim with transparencies, refraction, any unique visual trick or mod I really enjoy.
Just a bit of advice, you should have added Transparency in the mod title. You should maybe see if a moderator could do it and rename your mod and recategorize it under Models and Textures. It should have transparency in the title. You'll receive more traffic because until I was looking at it I thought it only replaced with traditional textures (which aren't as interesting) and it really does a disservice to your work and it would catch the eye better too.
You have great screenshots, just a rename and replacing a category is really needed IMHO. Plus your work is more recent and I haven't seen any new retextures featuring refraction or transparency in a while until I found yours. I also use most of Skysan's files too. He did one retexture and gave the wine bottles transparency and it looks fantastic even ported over. Someone should adapt their work and do the same for Special Edition.
Please consider it because the work here is nice and looks great in game. Thank you and endorsed.
So long as the meshes are run through SSE NIF Optimizer & the textures run through TexConv (BC7 texture conversion software), these should work for Skyrim SE...
It would be more cooler if only... The light could go through Stalhrim armor (shield) and weaponry tho. :D like it go through and make like... god ray people say? If you know what I mean.
I'm used to Refracting Stalhrim CBBE UNP 7Base with optional transparency (in combination with Leanwolf's Better Shaped Weapons). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53067 How does this best that mod?

And seeing those awful Vanilla paddles reminded me again of just how wonderful (and essential) Lean Wolf's "Better Shaped Weapons" is.

It does not glow if there is no nearby light source.
That's true. But there are many light sources in Skyrim.

Both have refraction, but the looks are different.
