The reason you're not seeing this in the world is because the spells tomes weren't added to the leveled lists. Use AddItemMenu, or use one of the utilities to automate the leveled list process to add them. The mod does work on SSE if you follow the conversion process (Cathedral Assets Optimizer, Save in Creation Kit to get it into Form 44), and can even be flagged as an ESL there.
Someone please make a summon food spell for sse, like the old ultima games. Make it high level like master, for rp purposes, master mages are hardly summoning and selling food.
Too bad. Was looking for a mod like this for SE. Great Idea to make it. Was looking for a long time for a mod that summons food. I use INeed and playing with other mods that summon enchanting equipment and some such I was always wondering why nobody thought of the old book of The Grimm Brothers.
The Wishing-Table, The Gold-Ass, and The Cudgel in the Sack that's the translation of the title I don't know if it was translated in English.
It is about three brothers,... long story short: One got a magic table that when told to summoned Food out of nowhere and had a meal ready to eat on it.
Was thinking to do it myself, then realized how unfamiliar I am with modding.... :/
This doesn't work for me - where do I get the spell books? I have put it on, taken it off and put it on again but can't find anything at any vendor - is it a particular vendor that sells them? Please help - thanks
Someone said I needed to copy over the script folder - to where ? I used my mod manager to install this to my game
It occurs to me that a simple way to prevent people from abusing the spells to sell the food would be to make the spells require a material component that is consumed when casting the spell - a component that is worth more than the conjured food. Consider it a trade-off for making the food permanent - it wouldn't do to have food that vanishes in your stomach.
You can just have the spell create an item that isn't worth anything there should be some item creation tutorials that can walk you through it step by step. just copy and past existing items and rename 'Conjured [item]' and assign it a value of zero. After all, why would anyone want to buy something that'd disappear before they could sell it again?
i had an idea like this. i had the idea for awhile but never figured out how to do it.
i suck at scripting but you have no scripts with it. so...if you dont mind me reverse engineering it for learning purposes, i'll see what i can do to make the simple things you want. like make the food value zero like you stated to someone else.
i'd also like to suggest a conjured healing items for magicka, health and stamina. something similiar to World of Warcrafts mage class conjure food spell.
im reverse engineering it right now. and i am probably done by the time you read this...but until i get the okay, i am not doing anything with what i make from it.
EDIT! just found out there are scripts that go to the .ESP but...you forgot to include them/it.
no need to apologize to anyone though. honest and harmless mistake. i made that mistake on one of my mods on another game, (which i shall not advertise since it is irrelevent.)
im just saying this to make sure you don't feel bad about it.
I have an idea. Why not make it some sort vile Daedric food (although Daedra probably don't need to eat? idk). That will be a slight deterrent to overusing this exploit.
If I knew how to do so, that would definitely be on the table. I'd love conjured food to have 0 value.
But I think a bit of self restraint goes a long way. If you're using a food mod, you're probably an RPG'er, and then you'd ask yourself "Am I the greatest sorcerer to ever live, or am I a bloody catering firm"

I did have the idea to also include a water --> wine spell in the Alteration school, but water is unfortunately not in the base game.
