The Disparity patch doesn't really make it more compatible with Requiem. It just preserves the stats and abilities from Disparity, but those aren't in line with Requiem standards, so if you want to play Requiem like it was intended, it's fine to use Disparity without a patch.
Tbh, if you want to play Requiem like it was intended you shouldn't use Disparity. Its difficult to patch something that has a different take on something Requiem significantly alters.
As said on the mod page, the patch actually favors requiems racial values and standing stone edits over disparity's, not the other way around. What the patch mainly does is allow the gender/weight disparity system to work with requiem.
I cannot replicate this issue both on my main machine and my laptop (which has a completely clean skyrim install). Be sure you are not trying to use BTC or it's disparity patch with 2.0 .
