Any tricks on switching from the other south side Dragon Bridge Vendors and Blacksmith mod you have? I finally got that working smoothly a couple weeks ago
There is no conflict I know of. Small Town vendors was the demon in my game. I used an older version that did not affect Dragon Bridge area and no more crashes. But in reference to my question; Do I just delete old Dragon Bridge Vendors and Blacksmith mod, then add this one, nothing special to switch over?
A few things I am curious about with the Hjaalmarch version; Wasn't there a water tank in the previous version? No biggie, just wondering. I really like the trees and back road flowers. The farms look nicer, also. The whole place feels more complete than older version. The blacksmith's collection of Imperial and Solitude gear is cool no matter what hold he is in. And I can kinda see why Reach soldiers would be there even though it is in Hjaalmarch hold, given the closeness of the Reach hold by borders on map. But the real question is why do the guards have a 'Stormcloak Soldier' tag above them, when their barracks have Imperial banners? Not game breaking, but...
Ah, ok. Then DeathLoop36 meant that the latest version of Small Town Merchants causes a problem with Arthmoor's mod. The latest version of Small Town Merchants adds a merchant to Dragon Bridge. DeathLoop36 used an earlier version that does not affect Dragon Bridge. I want to use your mod and Arthmoor's and also Small Town Merchants but I dont know which version of Small Town Merchants does not include Dragon Bridge. Thanks.
@davidwalshireland I have changed my game since then, but it was Small Town Merchants v7 that worked smoothly for me. It was the last version of that mod that did not have a merchant in Dragonbridge. For some reason the newer versions conflicted when both Arthmoor's and Chrisredfield2012's were active in my game causing CTDs in the area. Hope this helps.
After i install this mod, this happens with bridge: https://imgur.com/SlRwhHi I already uninstall the mod, but problems still here, someone can help me to fix this?
I've never seen a graphics bug like this before. Maybe another mod is causing this bug. Try to disable mods bit by bit to find the problem. Maybe run LOOT over it.
It's not my fault. It looks like the author of Northfire's Dungeons changed a texture package which also changes the textures of the bridge, and you might not have noticed. When you uninstall Northfire's Dungeons everything is back to normal textures and it's not my mod. Perhaps the author should be informed.
yes geographically. the bridge is the border between haafingar and hjaalmarch. That's why there are two versions. something for every taste. everyone sees it differently and everyone should feel comfortable with my mod after his measure.
Very nice addition to Dragon Bridge. I think you have done a good job on the layout of the buildings and so forth. There is one thing I dont like. When your mod is installed the guards are labeled 'Imperial Soldier'. But they are not Imperial soldiers; they are Haafingar guards. They are wearing Skyrim hold uniforms; not Imperial uniforms. I know that technically south of the Bridge is Hjaalmarch hold; but I think it would be better if your settlement were considered and themed as Haafingar. Or you could theme it as Hjaalmarch and make the guards Hjaalmarch guards. Just not Imperial.
Just to follow up. I installed a mod that gives names to un-named NPCs and it replaces the generic tags on the guards eg 'Imperial Soldier' with a Nord name; which basically fixes the issue for me. I found that the Haafingar edition tags the guards Imperial Soldier; and the Hjaalmarch edition tags them as Stormcloak. Both are incorrect lore wise, in my opinion; they should be hold guards. But anyway I will use the Hjaalmarch edition which tags them as Stormcloaks, which is a little better than Imperial Soldier on account of the uniforms. They will be given Nord names by the other mod I mentioned. It even renamed the blacksmith and his wife as a married couple. I thought that was nice touch. It is a very nice little village with atmosphere and badly needed services (there is actually no blacksmith or forge in Hjaalmarch in the vanilla game).
In Dragon Bridge itself, I've found Imperial Soldiers with Haafingar armor. That's why the Haafingar version stays as it is. But I will change the Markarth soldiers into Morthal soldiers there are guards too. Markarth is Reach and not Hjaalmarch, so I made a mistake. This update coming soon.
This is a must have mod for me. Makes Dragon Bridge feel like a real town now. I made a video showcasing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DRZMhtDs0k
Gern geschehen. Mir fiel es auf als ich meine eigene mod nach langer Zeit installiert hatte und habe ja jetzt, zwar verspätet, darauf reagiert. Viel Spaß damit.
Are the new NPCs voiced? Also, how do i install this? Do i install one of the main files, the update and the Cutting Room Floor patch? or just the first 2?
You need the mainfile in every case. This is suitable for cutting room floor. The update is only for grass mod users where the mainfile plugin is overwritten and that should also be suitable cutting room floor. the optional files are outdated and are not needed.
this is great. I like this more than etac's. by any chance can you make a patch for fight the thalmor IV by any chance? and thank you again for the great mod

No. But seeing a Stormcloak Soldier casually walking into the barracks is odd.
