I just discovered that this contains a replacer for the light and heavy imperial shields. It is beyond my modding skill to remove them from the base mod. If you are you using a replacer, you may have to reinstall it/load it after my mod to make it compatible.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought of using firearms on a large scale in Skyrim, you're the only one I've seen whose managed to work on it, fantastic work so far, good luck!
I always tweak and do things with any mod I dl. Its funny, everything I can do in the ck is a direct result of simple experience with modding. The hard stuff is scripting, modeling, and quests/environment design which I cannot do. I can only edit inventories, shop lists, balance stats, create/edit npcs and place things in the world.
As for the firearms it just seemed natural for the empire to use simple kinetic weapons.
Load mine after and it should edit all vannila imperial soldiers and give them firearms. If your overhaul uses only new NPCs it will have no effect. You will still have penitus occulatus units with magitek ammo and you would still encounter imperial Marksman during the siege of solitude. Also would still be able to craft in anvil
It's just a matter of permissions. I lack the skill to make assets, but I can distribute them. just waiting on replies from people really, although I myself can forget to check my inbox :p
Not my work. Thanks goes the original mod author Davis237834 for his mesh and tex work as well as rigging the frame.you will find it actually breaks into pieces when t he player dies while wielding it. Also im aware of lore, it was just me trying to give a flimsy justification for yet more violence in skyrim.
Thank you! I was about to learn the creation kit to do this exact thing, and then your mod appeared! I'll test it and endorse ASAP. It doesn't make sense that the empire is stuck in medieval times since centuries, especially considering that Hammerfell does have canons, aka powder weapons. Anyway, thanks a lot.
