Anyone know if this will work in SSE? I have it installed, but NPCs still see me from behind them. I opened it up on CK64 and tried to port it, but still doesn't seem to work. I can't find anything in CK that is specific to this mod. Ideas? Helpful suggestions?
Then check what the mod changes to make the npc's degree vision less or more and make your own mod with creation kit without doing what he did exactly.
EDIT: It's what i do i make my own mods by looking at how others do it.
You know what what would be nice with this mod? MCM support, that way you could roll up all three of the options into one, and allow you to change it in game.
I just want to say thank you so much for this mod. I use this with the sneak tools and I tell you seriously I could not play the game without it now it is one of the best mods for me. The whole concept of it was brilliant and this is what the game should have had before. One of my favorites of all time I feel like I have the tenchu game I always wanted.
Been a while, but I've updated the mod. Hopefully I've finally made sneaking in skyrim bare-able. Sneaking shouldn't "break" anymore and earlier levels should be doable. Found a much better method of tweaking it and staying close to vanilla settings.
Also there's now options for 135/150/165 vision. I'd go for 150 btw. And the settings have been separated.
Been trying it for a while now and I've got to say, it just doesn't work. It's WAY too easy to get multiple sneak attack crits on the same target with a bow and it makes there detection when you aren't sneaking totally wonky...I've walked up to enemies sitting at a table thinking they were friendly NPCs because they weren't attacking me.
Trying to sneak up to someone and get a backstab, or trying to sneak past someone might work well with these settings, but it totally breaks sneaky archer gameplay.
