This mod has been updated with Mathy79's 3D trees.
Only install one main file.
The full version of this mod alters vanilla trees, while the normal version does not alter vanilla trees. Core Files plus billboards are for users of DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen.
Performance versions are available in the optional files section. Install a main file first, then overwrite with the corresponding performance version.
The old version of this mod with 2D trees is still available in the old files section. Fixes and improvements are still planned for the old version as well as the new

1. Will you port the new version to SSE?
- yes, at some point in the future
2. Will you port this mod to xbox?
- probably not. I do not own an xbox
3. Are there 3-D lods for the new version with Mathy79's trees?
- Not that I am aware of. I will attempt to make some in the future
4. Can you change this tree or that color branch, or remove this tree or that mushroom?
- no, you will have to do this yourself in TES5Edit or photoshop, create updated billboard if needed, then regenerate tree LOD with DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen
5. I am getting purple textures
- make sure you installed the bsa. Loose files overwrite files in a bsa archive. So if you are using another mod that changes trees or branches, that is probably your issue to fix
6. Can you make a loose files version?
- you can do this yourself by using a bsa archive extractor, installing the extracted loose files, and then deleting the bsa
7. Is this compatible with Enhanced vanilla trees, Skyrim Flora overhaul, All Dead Trees, Trees Addon, this tree mod or that tree mod?
- yes but do not use the full version as the changes to vanilla trees will be overwritten. Mixing and matching trees and tree mods requires regeneration of tree LOD with DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen, so make sure to use the Core files plus billboards.
NOTE: the full version incorporates my other mod All Dead Trees (3D version)
8. Will you update the old version?
- fixes and improvements are planned via xEdit, no new edits to the landscape will be made

This was one of my favorite landscape/flora mods for LE, and I was sad to discover that the SE version is missing now, and there's no backups to be found anywhere

Edit : It doesn't happen with the core files, without the billboards, I tried with a freshly downloaded Skyrim and a few Environmental mods
I would highly suggest using this along with your own tree overhauls.
I'm using this mod and All Dead Trees in my playthrough.
