I've found a way to make the amulet undo the transparency effect.

    The key was the magicSetActorAlphaScript. If you look at one of the Ghost effects and double click on the script in the Papyrus Scripts box you can set the Don'tFadeBack box. (The effect you're using for the amulet has that box checked, which is why it behaves as it does.)

    I copied the AbGhostPotionEffect, checked the no duration box, changed the casting type to constant effect and changed the spectral amulet's entry to use the modified effect. I'm pretty sure that each effect that calls that script does so independently, and won't screw up any other effect that calls it. I copied the potion effect rather than changing it to avoid conflicts.

    Hope this is useful!

    could you not instead leave it at

    15% physical, 15% fire, 15% forst, 15% shock, 15% disease and 15% poison.

    with no resistance to magic. I don't think there is any moagical damage in the game that doesn't fall under one of the above types. That way it might not feel so overpowered to you.

    maybe a 25% bonus to sneaking too (you are pretty much transparent after all)

    Also, a possible fix for your bug.

    go into the console and type:

    player.setactoralpha 100

    I think that fixing the effect to wear off a few seconds after removing the amulet might help. Maybe have it 5 or 10% resistance, and added sneak bonus?

    So.. it doesn't turn me back to normal when I take it off.Waiting/changing cells/removing armor/anything else I could think of has no effect.

    I had to reload my save. >_>

    Doesn't magic resistance mean resist (frost and fire and shock)?

    This amulet is pretty balanced as it is, I'd say.

    @tsotp

    True.

    Not sure how to balance elemental resistances (for assistance with dragons) with magical though.

    Eg. If I get rid of all but magic, you're still taking full 'fire' damage from dragon breath, traps and enchanted weapons.
